- It's always a good day when we get to look at another new helmet! And this one is a beauty. Today we have the Star Wars 501st Phase II Clone Trooper Helmet from Denuo Novo.
In addition to looking at the helmet, we'll see how they ship helmets these days since they re-branded from Anovos. We'll also compare it to the latest Hasbro Phase II Clone helmet to see the differences.

I wavered on this helmet for a while due to the price, but I wanted one very badly, especially after my friend Ardeshir played the live-action version in Kenobi. Then Denup Novo hit me with the sale and free shipping and I caved. I'm glad I did. I agree with you. This one is a beauty and displays so nicely!

Hey Luke! As always, thank you for the kind words. And I too don't collect clone helmets. Just trooper helmets. And then, it just kind of devolved from there! haha! I wasn't going to get this one, then my buddy showed up in Kenobi as a live-action version of this. The final straw? They put it on sale and then offered free shipping. I have no willpower. The helmet looks absolutely incredible. They really did a nice job with the weathering and kept it consistent throughout the whole helmet. Where as with some hasbro ones they scratch the paint but the rest of the helmet looks pristine and it just looks funny. They definitely did a great job with this helmet. Awesome review 👍🏻
Right, Evan?! You nailed it. The Hasbro Artillery Trooper and Incinerator Trooper were downright silly. THIS is how you're supposed to weather a helmet. The overall quality and paint tints are spot on as well. I never really intended to collect clone helmets, but I just couldn't pass this one up for all the reasons I mentioned. Thanks for weighing in on this one, Christian. And I agree. It had been so long since I'd purchased a high-end helmet, I'd nearly forgotten how stunning these can be. And this one has been on my RADAR for quite some time, but I was able to hold off. Then they got me by putting it on sale and offering free shipping. Ugh... my helmet collection is larger (and keeps getting larger) than I had ever intended. At any rate, it's always good to see you around here and I'm looking forward to the next Smuggler's Canyon video masterpiece!

All my helmets are OT, but I must admit I really appreciate the Clone phase 2, this looks like a really nice solid helmet. Great review as always Paul 👍

Thank you so much, Hemi. I appreciate the kind words. And unfortunately, I cannot produce a video review of any of the Cybercraft helmets, as I have none of them. I have studied them regularly and seen other videos regarding them. Alas, they look a bit "off" to me. I can't quite place it, but they appear to slightly miss the mark when it comes to natural screen accuracy. So, I have never purchased one. I see and hear great things about their customer service and the like, so I'm trying to not be too harsh, but their aesthetic has never appealed to me. Regardless, thank for checking out my videos!
@Paul's Collectibles I appreciate the honesty! I'm looking for 2 specific helmets for making my own display and to wear. I'm trying to find a phase 2 501st helmet from episode 3 and republic commando boss's helmet. Theirs are a good price, and I do prefer to have screen accuracy. Just I'm not too sure if I want to spend too much money like in the over $500 rang. Would you recommend I stick with cybercraft if screen accuracy isn't my main goal?
@@hemi-pwer2639 Excellent question, Hemi. Keeping in mind that I have never seen one of these helmets up close, and never held one, I can offer my opinion. And that is, "cash is king." At the end of the day, budgetary considerations are always paramount. In this case, I have seen lots of positive things about Cybercraft and have heard nothing negative that I recall. They've been around for years now and seem to deliver a decent quality product. If they look pleasing to your eye, that's all that matters. Make sure you ask questions about the helmet such as construction material, interior lining, head size and the like to ensure you are getting a helmet that will work for you. Most of these will be moot if you just need it for display. Finally, Cybercraft is located in Russia. With all that's going on in the world right now, make sure they are still able to ship out of Russia to your country and ask about duties, fees and any hidden import taxes. If they require money up front, ask about refunds should those things change and they can no longer deliver. But at the end of the day, if you like the way it looks, it fits your budget and you're satisfied with the answers they give you to your questions, you should grab it.

Late to the party for this one, but this is a really nice helmet. Those who are into weathering should take note of this helmet as so often weathering is over done and looks false. This in my opinion looks perfect.
It's never too late to talk about a good helmet, Paul! And, as you say, this is a really nice helmet with some great, understated weathering. I debated for a while purchasing this one, but in the end, I had to have it and I'm glad I did. It displays beautifully and is such great quality. You said that you would tchek if it was decals or real in the movie, now I know it will sound weird but.. ALL clones (except Boba) are CGI.. If you search for a video explaining this better then watch the video with Adam Savage (from mythbusters) and "the first real clone" . If I remember correctly it's like the Anovos🎉
Great looking helmet. Definitely need more space to display it properly. . Maybe another mannequin. Dressed up as a clone trooper. Would go well with the stormtrooper you have

I wish i could even afford Denuo Novo. I would love a shore trooper, tie pilot, and 501st clone helmet. I got the BS vader recently, and now I want to find an ANH version that I can afford.
I agree, Blaze. These Denuo Novo helmets are pricey for sure, so I have to be judicious about which ones I pick up, even thought they have like ten over there right now I want. haha! And I have found a couple good looking Darth Vader helmets from other high end makers in the past, but as you mentioned, they were all super expensive and I just couldn't justify the expense for a helmet that would simply be a "nice to have" in my collection. I think that is a safe bet, Craig. Obviously, I have no insight into the company in greater fashion than anyone else, but it certainly seems like a no-brainer that they will re-use this Phase II mold to pump out several different units and rake in as much money as possible. This style of helmet is VERY popular with fans and clamored after. If they're smart, they'll provide for that demand.
@@PaulsCollectibles that’s exactly what I’m thinking, I’ve pre ordered the 332nd helmet for later this year. We’ve seen it with the standard stormtrooper design, Mandalorian and Rebel pilot helmet. I was hoping for an Armourer helmet but it would have a limited run so I’m doubting it will be made. Another great video and thanks for posting it and replying.
