@@vijayasarathyshankar9185 Never experienced braking issue even after riding nonstop for 18-19 hours mostly on hills. Similarly have never faced any 'overheating' issues. It's a 650 air cooled engine so it does heatup but never to the point where it shuts down or anything.

BS6 one is a bit broader than BS4 to accomodate the additional navigation device from RE... So ideally the newer one should be better than this one. I personally have switched to original Interceptor visor though because of my 90% city riding requirements.

They will have to replace the RR-Unit under warranty free of cost (they might charge 200 rupees as application fees). Same goes for fuel pump - Go to a service center in a different location and ask them to get it done under warranty.

@@TheTwinPost I contacted the customer care they are saying your warranty got void due to 2nd service elapse. So its on me now its seems. After the 4 free service gets done then only we can claim its seems.

@@prannai That's the most ridiculous thing I've heard ever. Drop a detailed email to this email id with all the details and that you did not get support from the service center etc with all the details about which service center etc. include as much details as you can. support@royalenfield.com

@@prannai I had also missed my third service and directly got the fourth service. I got the RR-Unit replaced twice under warranty.

@@TheTwinPost bro really thank you for your reply after 10 days of fighting they got me replaced just the fuel pump but not the rr unit they told me to test the fuel pump if the bike still goes with the same problem then they gonna replace rr too, I had email them get it escalated. after the case went to senior authority they contacted me. before everything they were quoting me around 6k for fuel pump and 5k for unit and all other charges.

Kemimoto mirrors seems really like a pretty good option... especially the bar end ones.

Alag se fuel meter lag to jaega aftermarket but not sure kitna sahi lag paega meter console ke paas. Ek practical solution yahi hai ki hamesha refuel karte waqt trip meter ko zero kardo. Ek full tank pe INT650 almost 200-220 kms chalti hai low fuel indication ke aane tak. To jab trip meter 200-220 pohoche to seedha firse petrol bharva lo fuel bar pe na dhyan dete hue

My apologies... Let me give you an update on this. My bike had a 3 years warranty. My first RR-Unit failed at 6,000 kms (3,728 miles) and i got it replaced under warranty My second RR-Unit failed after another 6,000 kms and i again got it replaced under warranty. Now currently I'm at 22,000 kms (13,670 miles) and the third RR-Unit has failed again... But this time since my bike is now out of warranty - I'll have to pay for the new RR-Unit. Since the cause of RR-Unit failure is overheating...and it's happening because of the placement of it behind the engine where it doesn't get enough airglow - I'll be trying to relocate the RR-Unit to somewhere above the radiator ornbesides the horn to make sure it gets enough air flow and doesn't overheat again.

Hello Hrishikesh, that seems weird because all 3 of us (me and my 2 friends) never faced this issue with our INT650s. You can either re-route the clutch cable in a way that this can be avoided or if that doesn't work then the only solution would be to get a longer clutch cable.

Hi Jesse... The logic you explained regarding the swapped tyre throwing stuff right into the contact patch makes alot of sense - it has been 10k kms with these tyres for me now and I've gotten used to their behaviour. These tyres don't inspire the confidence to go fast and actually transfer a little amount of vibrations into the handlebar while riding on smooth tarmac (maybe because of the block pattern). I'll be changing these after a couple of thousand kms and will probably be going for Vredestine tyres. Thanks for taking your time out and providing some really valuable info 👌

If you've got the stock Ceat tyres then yes they need to be replaced with tubeless tyres (Tube type would be written on the sides of your Ceat tyres for reference)

@@TheTwinPostyes I have stock tyres then I guess I should opt for re alloys with tubeless tyres, it is costing me around 27+ for both front and rear

Looks are subjective bhai... aapko ko Taj Mahal lagta hai vo kisi ko jhopad Patti lag sakti hai and vice-versa. Meri bike ke mods se mujhe and mere partner ko long distance rides me help mil rahi hai and that was the intent of these mods.

@@mradulmt Original retro look doesn't solve many issues while touring I would buy a adv in coming years and will use that for touring - and then I would make the Interceptor look as retro as possible because then I would only use it for city rides and weekend runs.

I know people who have got this installed without the rerouting - but I wouldn't recommend it neither does the brand. Motone does make alot of good quality parts for 650 but like you mentioned those are really expensive. For the price I found these to be the best quality wise. It's been more than 3 years and they're still spotless.

They were never able to identify why the RR-Unit failed twice... My friend's INT650 also had a RR-Unit failure at 7,000 kms. Basically heat is the issue and hence placement of the RR-Unit should've been at a location where it would get more air flow for efficient cooling.

@@TheTwinPostyou are spot on ! I have a voltmeter on my bike and I can see the output voltage stay steady at around 14.4 - 14.5 volts during the rain and the volt drops to 14.2 when the bike heats up and runs in normal days

I got my spoke rims converted to tubeless about 2 years ago and have been using tubeless tyres (without tubes obviously) since then.... No issues whatsoever and have envounter in total 2 punctures which took minutes to fix.

Hi Rajkumar... I bought this bike in 2019 and posted this video in 2021... so it's been a while. And yes RE has finally made the much needed changes to the updated variants on the 650.... With a decent bump in price too... It feels good that I got this bike brand new at 2.98 lakhs on road in June 2019 😀

I've never gone for long rides with a pillion... I've been on long rides with Rynox Nomad-2 bag loaded with luggage + a loaded rucksack and a 5 litre Jerry can... Did the infamous Kaza to Manali stretch without any issues whatsoever with this luggage setup during my Spiti ride. Also I did my Leh ride with the same luggage setup... But Leh ride doesn't offer alot of bad roads.. the only one I can remember is from Pang towards Keylong... There's about 2 hours of constant offroad... Which from what I've heard has been fixed now.

@@gtmavericks2491 The bike can definitely handle it... I mean I've done 250kms with a pillion for a relatively small ride to Uttarakhand....but then there's wasn't luggage since we also had a car. On bad patches you as a rider will be able to handle it well...the torque does most of the job but since the rear shocks don't have alot of travel...pillion won't be happy after a while

Yes I've already seen them displayed at RE dealerships and for test rides as well.

I have that Barcelona blue and believe me their spare parts are pain in the ass.I would suggest don't buy their 650cc.If you will visit service centre for any sensor issue they will reset it with DOL tool even if sensors are covered in warranty.I am with regular fight with SC. If you're going with your emotions then good luck coz you'll become a hardcore mechanic yourself.

The difference here between our opinions is in think... We have a different definition for the word 'easily'. Touring speed of 110-120 is something where the rider is also comfortable with the amount of windblast + the engine isn't running too hot which would end with a lower than usual fuel economy. You can ride INT-650 at 140 too all day long but that doesn't make it an 'ideal' touring speed for this bike. Top speed: I've ridden the BS-6 version as well as I have 2 friends who also own Interceptors (2 BS-IV & 1 BS-VI) and the easily achievable speed is 160 but stretching it out it does around 170ish... In my experience it didn't reach those speeds "easily".
