As someone who knows people who have been wrongfully banned for cheating and having to wait months and months for their bans to be reversed in Valorant because they (luckily) have twitch channels to pull vods from, it's a huge slap in the face when you have one of their devs saying that cheater bans are always correct and people are just crying that they got banned. Multiple times we've seen false bans thrown around and sometimes even manual bans because a streamer got wrecked by someone and screamed about it on stream until a dev got sent the clip and they ban the accused without even looking into the issue. Riot are scumbags, and how they maintain a cult-like following is beyond me.

Haven't watched a single second of ESL since they were bought by you-know-who, never installed Valorant and will never reinstall League now for the occasional half-sloshed ARAMs with friends. There were so many other ways to attack this problem short of fucking over their playerbase yet again, but this is Riot Games we're talking about. FO NV is my favourite out of the 3D versions. FO 4 was such a disappointment. I am playing NV again, as my bf built a new PC and gave me his old one. Sold my series s and switch to CEX (stopped playing on them), then bought a refurbished GPU and CPU from them. I have a ps5 too. Now I get to play NV with mods. Been enjoying it so much, only played it on 360 before. The companions are great. I love Boone's personal quest, even Arcade's is good. I only ever completed 4 once, and never played it again. Which family member will you need to search for in the next game Todd? Your Uncle or Auntie? 😂

to be clear, here is a workcase for me. I work for the australian government in security. I can work from home. Vanguard would compromise my system to the chinese state. This is stupid. It runs all the time, its beholdent to the ccp. I cant have it on my devices. I can play CS because it does not do this.

Wrong about Faceit AC mate. If you click Disable on it's tray icon after you are done playing, it explicitly says that to play / activate it again you would need to restart your PC.

Was playing only valorant for 2 years straight. Bought a new pc for 2k. Got 3 blue screens playing valorant due to vanguard. Never came back.

Arch user btw. Why anyone would install software that has kernel access is insane to me. I haven't touched Vanguard since it first came out and tried it out in a VM using Hypervisor but I take it that's no longer possible? Not that I really care cause I wouldn't touch anything Riot with 15 layers of gloves on my hands.

played league for 14 years and this was the final straw richard. took your advice and switched to dota2. its been fantastically enjoyable learning a new moba. it gives me a feeling i havent felt in a long time of being a new player and getting a chance to learn something new but familiar.

Wait a fucking minute.... is this why my pc would flip out when I would reset it? I would get errors with my boot drive not working, but I haven't been getting them recently (no more valorant). I don't have the exact timeline of when I was having the problems while also having Valorant installed, but they were both happening together.
