Every time Karrigan cries I cry. I know one day in a post game interview he will announce his retirement. I think I’ll stop watch then.
Karrigan’s retirement would be something I’m not ready for
Implying he won't instantly transition to a Coaching job
Wow.
@@mxt77 Shut up. Childish Words
@@mxt77 you tried to imply Richard has autism for analyzing hooxi's tweet. Opinions discarded.
This fucker made me wanna watch the major. RL I thought you were trying to kill the scene why are you producing banger content with riveting storylines
If I Did It: Confessions of the Cheater a book by R.R. Flusha
Please flusha 🙏 write this book 📿
"If the macro doesnt fit you must acquit" or some shit
One of the best things about the ENCE bounceback is that they got 13:0'd and just a little bit later that day they 12:0'd GE in the first half. They only lost the pistol by a shred of bad luck so it could have been a 13:0 reversal. If they were still under the 9ine banner, they would have broken, really shows the quality of Glaive and Kuben as leaders
Furthermore, Hades hitting the shot on device at 11 9 was a poteic parallel to his missed shot vs Lynn Vision back at Pro League
OJ Flusha is such a good analogy. Wish he wrote that book
I am such a boomer. Again won nuke by LoordB 1vs4, couple overtimes. WCG was played in China, first map on stage, Redeye on the mic. Second map was played offstage because of amount of overtimes etc. and guys from starcraft played games. Second map was also ended by LoordB on train, again Tside, I guess 1 vs 3 or 4 again. After that, we heared iconic: "Co jest Get_Right? Co jest kurwa?" I remember that WCG like it was yesterday. Also when Richard told that 3 of them are on Tier1 teams as coaches is amazing that they are still in the game. LoordB is also a coach, hopefully he will also make it to Tier1. Amazing episode, it had everything, just like RMR B. Exceptional video Rich, thank you !
The fact that nawk is in the Major and device isn't is pretty ironic
love seeing all your work on cs recently keep up the good work
I've recently started watching those videos and I fell in love with them. Great combination of analysis and humor (also I love your mindset about game and esports overall, for instance the video about astralis that you posted yesterday and where you ranted dev1ce and blamef for not stepping up to interview and doing silly things (or not doing anything at all) on twitter really clicked in my brain, I really started to understand what true leader should be and how he shouldn't behave.
Karrigan is a fcking legend of the game, and Richard is absolutely right about his legacy. He doesn't care about sticker money, hes practically a multi millionaire already. Dude just wants to collect trophies at this point.
Thanks for this vid Rich. You drew some really beautiful narratives
gla1ve sent 9ine to Katowice, 9ine sent gla1ve to a major in Denmark, all under Kuben's wings. Amazing story ❤
On Siuhy, I was unsure about him in MOUZ NXT because there was so many pieces being praised in that line up with JDC seen as a non-IGL captain and Sycrone getting praised. Then after he did the GL run, he peaked everyone interest, although I was still unsure, I wanted to see him go back to MOUZ to return to unfinished work.
But when Karrigan did a piece of content choosing his dream team, where he put himself as coach and made Siuhy his go to IGL, it put it in an interesting light.
I was down bad for content, tyvm
I met Karrigan at IEM Syd I asked him about a few things, no hesitation in the answers. I can see he wants a legacy in CS which he has one of the best IGL no doubt, he feeds off the fans he. I didn't know how old he was it will be sad to see him step back from the game.
We need karrigan and NiKo back on a team together so that every tournament isn't just "yay for X but shame tor Y". Let's get the guy chasing the mantle of GOAT IGL back with the guy chasing the mantle of GOAT CS player
I watch all your videos Richard, but I especially love these kind of live reviews, always make me laugh
Rich unconsciously joins the hatemaxxing community with all the international roster flops, launder is punching the air right now 🙏
I mean old veterans crying because they get to go to the major again could also be that they feel like they've still got it. A battle with self doubt and a display of gratification
Probably somewhat true of glaive tbh. Lots of people cast doubt on how important he was for Astralis' success so he probably wanted to forge an identity for himself away from that roster.
Upload came just in time for my train commute
As someone who watched Pentagram G-Shock, the old brutal battles between NiP, SK, FNC in the days of dominant Swedish CS, I have to agree, these RMR storylines about both players and coaches have got me excited for CS again, we wont get this quality of storylines again across any esport and that is simply due to the timespan.
God I love COUNTERGAMING.
29:10 had me in shambles with his comparison how karrigan is chasing xD
Looking at Brollan's hltv rating it does seem like he dropped off after the krieg meta.
1.04-1.12 during, 0.97-1.04 in the following years and 0.97> recently.
Would love to see a 'by the numbers major special'
I think Mouz have proven themselves enough: they're not some random team having a hot streak, theres a core thats been together a while thats still playing well even after losing Frozen (that would have killed lesser, fluke teams).
Mouz have put together countless lineups that have "overperformed", theyre up their with one of the most well managed orgs with Ence.
Driving home listening to Rich... Beautiful.

It is precisely the demo in which Donk makes the least suspicious plays that is the most analyzed? The stars aligned for him, it seems
What's suspicious about Donk's play?
@@RLewisReports same as flusha, shix, shroud but still more stuff
Natu? Holy moly what a throwback...
I am very excited to see what gla1ve can do with this Ence team. I've personally always picked Karrigan as the GOAT IGL due to his longevity and ability to win with different teams (He's won 3 tier 1 events with standins even). Gla1ve for me was always second cos he only ever did it with Astralis and the GOAT coach behind him. He's already leveled up this polish core incredibly so I'm excited to see how far he'll go
Love everything about karrigan
Mouz reminds me of Faze 2022 but just worse firepower wise. Like, these guys know how to comeback and close out games, and there are a lot of ballsy players that can throw a Hail Mary. Of course, if they meet top opponents who are playing their own game, that does feel like something unassailable to them.
At least the players cried for money unlike Rekkles who cried for attention in s7 worlds.
11:25 - 11:45 politics since 2016 in a nutshell
Heroic: -Nicodoz +Naawk
RL ❤
Do not fully agree with you on MOUZ and I need to get this off my chest. Love the content anyway as always, but here we go:
First of all their rifle core is VERY solid even after the departure of Frozen. Especially in communication and individual decisionmaking. To give you an idea, I think MOUZ has a better rifle trio than frigging NAVI in terms of those two factors. Siuhy IS talented, but he also has solid players around him, scouted by the ever competent organization thats been around a long time. I think MOUZ is giving ENCE a run for their money in terms of competence but fail to get the proper recognition for it, especially if you take the long view.
Torszi also can deliver some goods because he is a good system awper especially under siuhy but I can't disagree with you too much on him being broky without the upsides, I get that.
Brollan very solid so far and could have worked out also under aleksib if NIP had decided to get rid of all the role conflicts on the team, but MOUZ also has much better atmosphere to allow him to perform.
Xertion is another sick israeli multi-role rifler that has very high peaks and we haven't seen all of him yet. Super bullish about his future.
Jimpphat is the BEST player on the team if adjusted for roles, along with Siuhy himself and you didn't even mention him. Could already be an upgrade on many teams wanting to contend for trophies, NAVI ironically being chief among them. Calm and super intelligent player with a high level of individual decisionmaking who reacts usually very well in midround situations. Mature beyond his years.
So with all that ranting I'm expecting MOUZ to do a solid major run, top8 or even top4 in the cards. If we keep using NAVI as a benchmark my hunch is MOUZ is going to outdo them, but obviously depends on the opponents each team faces at any given stage.
18:45 s1mple in the chat :D

SCROTUM!
Wasn't aurora or atleast some of their players suspected of cheating too
I can tolerate anything said about you but not funny is where I draw the line .

The sticker money has changed CS teams forever. Each individual player can make up to 100K for just participating in a major. shit thats more money one would get winning a Blast, IEM, or DreamHack tournament.
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
lmao torzshit
Not excusing anyone, but someone needs to be the adult in this story and penalize all this toxicity towards one team. Everyone is innocent until there's irrefutable evidence that they cheated.
PLEASE interview karrigan. journalist and igl goats is what I NEED
