Keep having fun bro.🤙🤙🤙🤙
Just bought leviathan 1350 I’m 75 kg same condition do you think it will be too big? Thanks!
Nice that's rare🎉
I will never understand how this works 😭
It works off pure magic!
Cool!!

아마 1400만원 정도
Hey I have similar board like yours but I can’t put my front foot in strap, when I use assist, because motor push nose up, should I move motor up ? Thanks!
I have a few shorts that show how I stand up. On a shorter board, I actively hold down the nose and control the throttle carefully as I get my front foot in. I usually hit the throttle harder as I stand and slide the rear foot in.
👍
The spitfire is not a great foil. You should definitely consider something else!
I had fun on it. What would you ride in shin to thigh high swell? I brought my Art Pro 1201 to the beach. I was just riding this 1180 on a demo. It seemed like a great foil. If I am wrong, ignorance is bliss.
@@foilfanatic F-ONE Eagle. Fast, lots of glide and turns extremely well. Good to see you having fun out there! Take care :)
@@Alfonso_111 Thanks for the heads up. I will definitely demo one of those if I get a chance. I have tried out many brands, but that is one I have not. 🤙
Hello brasill Good
Silky smooth buddy… dreaming 🤙
Thanks for watching! Hope you are finally in some board shorts up there!
@@foilfanatic hahaha…Thanks… just finally about now! Unbelievable.
I love It bro files a legends
Wow dude, that looks so sick!! You are old like me, too. Im 60. I used to waterski, snowski, but something caused my back to not straighten properly, about 2 years ago. I was extremely active all my life til now. I live on cochiti lake in new mexico. Hopefully i will get it diagnosed and get better. I see guys on my lake riding those things, and i hope to get up on one. That was a cool ride, man, keep posting videos!!
Thanks for watching. This is a great, low impact way to stay fit as you get older. Back problems is the number one thing that holds some of us older riders back. I hope you find a way past it! If you do, get on one of these. You will love it!
SLAM! 🙂↔️🙂↕️🙂↔️🙂↕️
Oh yes… ohhhh yesssss. 🙌
That looks awesome! And I’m gonna say it, “game changer!”
🤣😂🤣🤣🤣yep😃🤙 Some shots still need the manual to highlight exactly what you want, but most shots it does much, much better than me. It also brings a bit of life back to the waves. Side note: do not do Adobe Audio Enhance while you are alone, late at night. It inserts some creepy stuff in when you crank the settings up. I may do a second channel predicting the future based on what Adobe A.I. tells me in the creepy voices. If I win the lotto, you will know where I got the numbers. 👾🤖👾

Yeah… let da boys be boys! 🤙
Hello William...I am putting together a foil kit that will include the Gen 2 Foil Drive. You seem to have some great gear that works well for you in your home conditions. I was hoping to get your opinion about masts. At the point you are now in your progression...what mast would you chose for your Foil Drive set up if you could only have one? Would you recommend the integrated masts over the movable option? What mast length for prone/DW and what distance is your preference for the motor...I will be running the max battery so I know that adds about 5 additional cm. I will be riding in similar conditions to you as I am about 3 hours south of you on the East Coast of Florida. Any info would be greatly appreciated...otherwise, great videos and perspective!
I absolutely love my 800mm Axis Ultra Pro Mast. It is a premium indulgence. If I was not attempting to create a business as a content creator, I am not sure I could justify the extra expense. It is incredible and the extra direct control takes a bit to get used to. It is the best mast on the market in my opinion. Short of that, I would go with the High Modulous carbon mast from Axis. I have not tried the No Limitz integrated mast.
@@foilfanatic Thank You, Sir!

Is that the 50L?
30L
Very helpful video thanks. What cable length on the foil drive are you using with the larger board?
I typically use a 15 or 20. I am not sure what I had on that day, but likely the 20.
was this recorded in 360 or the normal setting of the insta?
360
I want to learn foil fast I think this is the way.

Great overview and context on how to choose your foil to the conditions. I’m curious about your use of foot straps - can you comment on your preference there and how or why this works for you? Appreciate you sharing your riding experience with us!
Thanks, great question. I came to the Foil Drive from winging and a lot of jumping, so footstraps were natural for me. I now jump with the Foil Drive , but it does not end there. The straps help me dig into carves deeper and help me pull the board up harder during pumps. So they help my riding and since I have been using them since day one, I stick with them. I can ride without them, I just prefer them for my ride style.
Yes!
Fin & Foil stamp of approval, nice!🤙
its a total BS marketing ploy that's really lame just make it adjustable (retractable) or include all lengths w kit
I don't see retractable, but multiple cable lengths on a single motor seems more reasonable with the space concerns. Marketing BS? Nah. I know these guys. They are straight shooters. 🤙
I was out on a 4’5” 38L yesterday and found kicking to get the board planing the easiest especially out in biggish surf with a chop. Its easy to get up on small boards in calm water.
I have been on the Gen2 since around early October of 2023. When I first started, I needed the 44L to get going and I had to paddle up some of my larger foils, like the 1201. With time, changes in technique, better use of the waves, and a better feel for the foils and boards, I can get going on a smaller boards with smaller foils with the help of a small wave. I have avoided posting a video on how to get going because so much of it is based on reaction to the conditions now. I rarely kick or paddle these days. It boils down to nose and throttle control for me and keeping my legs out of the water to avoid the drag. If you look closely in this clip, I gave the nose a quick and hard bounce to break the plane, it rose slightly, and I stood up. But this is a bigger foil and a bigger board. The 1001 and the 30L will take a ton more effort. With patience, experience, and decent conditions, much smaller gear can be used.
Nice recovery
Dude, I went out for my first session the other day. In the earlier part of the session, I forgot your words of wisdom and got broke off a few times (nothing major). Your checklist popped into my head, and I started actually getting some flights. I'm headed back out on Monday. Thanks for taking some bumps and bruises to come to this wisdom. I feel like your videos are saving me a lot of time and ice packs.
If I am not falling hard enough to come up spitting salt water, I am probably not trying hard enough. Falling is how I got better at getting up on foil quickly. On a different , note, I am working on getting enough footage for a follow up to this video. I am discovering transition pumping works as well on the waves as it does on skate ramps. More power to the pump and less work in the waves. 🤙
I'll be looking out for that video.
@@foilfanatic Hey, I have a question. How do you set up your remote for the Foil Drive? Do you use the app to customize your settings? Or did you just get really sensitive with your throttle finger so that you can hold it around the percentage that you want?
@@ericivy9979 Use the App to learn and progress. You also need to get good with your throttle finger. Don't let off when standing up, go faster to Ollieup. It all takes awhile.
Yeah man - exactly. I was able to get my sinker up today for first time by using a big wing trying to keep flat as much as possible without sinking it, getting maybe 1/2 way onto a plane and then sliding front foot into the strap and ease off throttle rest of way (I think). Throttle control may be the hardest part? Like you told me weeks ago takes practice and that’s it. Thanks for your help again
Dude! rad when any piece of advice I gave out works out. I agree, throttle is key and nose control. The more I do it, the easier it gets. As for nose control, I think this clip shows me pump the nose with my arms to get it to break plane. 🤙
Really stoked to have connected with you through Foildriving Will, you're an absolute legend and we're lucky to be able to hang out with you and have you flying the flag with us! To another year of fun hey!

What power settings do u recommend for axis 1300 90kg rider? Medium power and no boost? Where should I start?
I have the Axis PNG1300 and use high but I think all the settings wiould work with the 1300. To start on my Foil Drive I used a smaller PNG 910 (and another riders 1010) which are easier to ride as ithey go faster and turn easily. Now with the 1300 I'm getting better at getting up and pumping every session. Still a long way to go but this 1300 is popular with Downwinders starting out.
I used the 1300 with full power settings and carefully let off the trigger when it started to come out of the water. You can dial it back in the settings if it is too much at first.
hows it work on a lake to steal waves off passing boats? We are hours from the ocean ..
Easy. Follow the boat and motor into the wake behind it. The hard part is timing catching the boat.
I basically have to use the 1401 with my FoilDrive when on short boards. I weigh about as much as you do and anything under 100L needs that big wing… at least for my amateur ass to get up.
Same for me until recently. With experience comes smaller gear. The smallest I go on the 30L is the 1030. There is not much fun in a struggle.
@@foilfanatic funny you say that. Was out on a 75 and 60L prone boards and spitfire 1100 yesterday for first time. One thing I love about the FD has been the ability to play with different equipment combos. Swap out a progressive rear for a skinny and see the difference in a controlled setting immediately (I’ll play on a perfectly flat reservoir). Take off the 1400 for an 1100 and see what piece specifically is contributing an affect. This weekend I got to analyze the black fuselage versus the Advance+ and it took maybe 15 minutes to come to a conclusion. Things that you could never recreate waiting for wind. If anything I’m seeing that I need less gear for what I will typically encounter. Otherwise I’m looking at these sessions as training for the waves and the windy days ahead.
@@robsinHL Same. If I want to try out even smaller foils in the flat, I just jump on a downwind board. I can start a 1001 standing up on the 8 foot Axis board.
