- I think it has been less than a week since I said I would not be trying any spin tricks at Fort Pierce any time soon.....well, that did not hold up well. We hit FTP on a gentle day. Way out, the swell was maxing at around 3 and a half feet and a mild slope. Florida Foilers showed up with the drone to help me get some shots. Thanks!
That has to be the cleanest Flaka I have hit to date. I think I am starting to wrap my head around the process and yet it still is not an easy one to pull off cleanly. When you do pull it right, you know before the board is done rotating. The wind helps swing you around and finish off the spin. Feels great when done right. Recapturing that feeling is going to be a theme until I have it 100 percent on lock.

I am partnering with Florida Foilers. I hope to start getting more riders in the shots and several camera angles. Coordination of people's time with the weather is harder to pull off than one of those behind the back tacks you were doing! 🤣🤙

I've never felt safe in Ft Pierce, too much crime for me.
I've never felt safe in Ft Pierce, IMO it's not a safe city.
I cannot argue with a feeling. I was raised in the murder capital of the United States, so my perspective might be a bit skewed. Strictly addressing the beach area, I would say there is much more open crime in most other beach towns. This beach is missing the sketchy strip bars, tattoo parlors, and pawn shops that typical in a rougher beach towns. if you had Gerontophobia Jetty Park would feel super unsafe.
