Pls I had the same issue with my own hyundai santa Fe 2011, I have changed the fuel pump with the crank switch sensor, but it is still not starting pls what could be the fault?

I was hoping this was the problem with mine...but I got in there and mines not broken where I can just put a zip tie on it it's still connected but doesn't move when I turn the vent selection switch. I guess it's the switch itself? If anyone knows what it is I'd appreciate it if you could please let me know. Thanks.

In Europe we dont have this sludge problem. We ran engine oils up to 15k miles all the time. What a trashy fuel you have!

The high pressure fuel pump tapet installed upside down. The roller in the tapet should ride on the exhust camshaft.

Awesome video! I've been facing the same frustrations and worse with my 2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid, which has almost 265K on the clock. Only thing is, I DID break off a spark plug in the cylinder head. But in your case, your perseverance paid off! Thanks for the tip on re-tapping the cylinder head. I should have done that with Cylinder #4... Another tip in a different video recommended tapping on the top of the wrench with a small hammer or even a rock. Maybe I'll try that too. Great job! You have inspired me to press on!

May I ask you your opinion on the rear left light assembly on a 2015 Altima SV . So I swapped all lights to LEDs in and out the car . Good quality LEDs. So I replaced the led new and still didn't work so I ordered the harness that's attachable I hope that works . I changed the fuses they were blowned and still didn't work . May I ask what do you think It could be I hope what I ordered works???

dealer techs get paid half what they normally do to do warranty work. once you know that, it makes sense. that system is messed up, how is it on the tech at all when a part fails when they had nothing to do with it. sure maybe if it was a comeback and they were working on it but not manufacuter defect.

These cars have EASY FIXES. I don't blame her for keeping it.

I can see how a tech who wasn't paying attention would make that mistake, there are two top sealing surfaces on that water pump, not just one. He carefully cleaned the bottom one but forgot the top one. One thing I've noticed about reman pumps from NAPA is how many come with the cheapest paper gasket. Lately I've been ordering the gasket separately and the quality difference is amazing.

Dealerships are the worst. I had a timing belt and water pump replaced at a dealership and they messed up the timing and the car started misfiring and the check engine light came on. I went back to the dealership and they said it wasn't their problem and something else was wrong with the car. Since then i have never gone back to dealership for any kind of service. The most dishonest people work in Dealerships.

It's egregious, outrageous and preposterous! I blame flat rate for crap like that. Good job fixing it properly. Now go to that ladies house tonight and swap the springs back lol

May I ask you I installed last yr leds on the entire car bumper to bumper. So the left rear brake led doesn't work I replaced it still don't work I was thinking of replacing the the wire harness that's attachable . I replaced the fuse that didn't work either. may i ask What do you think it could be. Yes I have a 2015 altima sv .

That leaking water pump story showed just how much of a waste of time and money poor work ethics can create. I am glad you found that spring, that would have drove me crazy.
