Thank you for watching my video, I appreciate the support ! - Auta a dopravní prostředky
I bought the Astro hub puller just because of your video of the ford edge where you used it. 10/10 best tool ever.
Hell yeah! I just used it again today 💪
thanx for doing these jobs for free, especially if the person is struggling with cash and/or in danger with past due, worn parts, ur the man, boss.. also thanx for the free "pro tip" when people unlock thier phones..😂😂
You're welcome lol . Thanks for watching
After throwing a ten pound slide hammer a few times, I realized what a dinky toy the 5 pound hammer is. Half the effort. Great job, these pressed in wheel bearings are still around.
Yeah people keep telling me I need a real slide hammer... I'll get one some day but the astro puller has been working wonders
Smart move I've never thought of, putting the opening of the circlip at the top. I always wanna rush out and buy a set of those massive snap ring pliers. I also use grease and the freezer on wheel bearings, some of them almost slide right in.
Gotta look up the lug nut torque! Between the wife and I we have six vehicles that I maintain. I keep a book with all their torque specs, fluid quantities, fluid types, tire sizes, tire pressures, part numbers of certain stuff like oil filters and brake pads etc...
I generally remember most of these things but will try to give a quick look at the book for the car I'm working on and be lucky I did, my memory gets confused will mix up which car was 88ft/lbs and which was 120ft/lbs. It just makes it easier. I work on cars at work, work on cars with friends after work and our own cars on the weekend. It definitely gets tough keeping all those specs in the old brain
That's definitely a lot to keep track of. Those snap ring pliers are sweet , just have to be careful to not apply too much pressure to them. I started to bend one of mine which cause it to not work properly
You're a good guy. I like that pry tool and if you want to get the sensor out more easily, move South. :)
That's a easy fix ... just move 🤣🤣 . Maybe some day lol. Thanks for watching
Shit I just had to knock the front wheel sensors out of the knuckles of my 2007 HONDA ELEMENT. They just were not coming out with wiggle and lubricants ..the right tools make life so much easier thanks 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I hear you, I've had to break a few sensors before
Some of your customers paying too much attention to the wrong ‘Hub’ 👀😂
😄
Very good video 😀
Thank you
When I replaced the rear wheel bearings on my son's Escape I used a 5 Lb. slide hammer rental from AZ & it took almost an hour to get the hub off. I ended up buying a 10 Lb. slide hammer to do the other side & 3 hits was all it took to get the hub off.
I hear you, I don't know why I even bother with the slide hammer anymore. I'll double think it next time
4:58 done☕️👍🏿
Thank you 🙏 I appreciate your kindness
You were really patient with that sensor. I always end up destroying them lol
When I don't have a replacement sensor I do all I can to get it out safely. It sucks but it is what it is.
Great video and great hair 🤔
I gotta go get my perm did 😆
Great job bro
Thank you
I dont store pics on my phone for many reasons... hahaha
🤣 Definitely
free is the second best 4 letter F word
also, do you ever have to have customers sign a waiver to use their car repair on the channel? just curious if anyone's finicky about that stuff.
No I don't have anyone sign anything. I don't show personal information. That could be any crv in the world lol . Usually when I tell someone I recorded a video on their car they're excited to see the video. I've never had someone tell me "no" to making a video.
Why not just replace the snapped stud????
It didn't seem like this is one of the cars that you can pop out the stud without removing the hub but maybe I was wrong
@@themechanic6117 club hammer would pop it out easy
Anyone can pop out a stud but is there clearance for removing/ installing a new stud?
HEY CRC, Why don't you sponsor already!!!
That would be sweet to get a few boxes of that stuff 😄👍
I sent them your YT Link and told them they should sponsor 😁.
I won't hold my breath 😆
also, if you ever want to show someone a single pic, just zoom in a little bit and they wont be able to swipe accidentally. gotta hide them D pics naimean
🤣🤣 I tried that on my phone and it does work but only for the first swipe. If someone double swipes in the same direction it goes to the next pic 😁
Sounds like lug nuts were overnighted at some point.
Yeah, most likely my fault. I talk more about that at the end of the video.
why not just put a stud in it
On this car you can't just pop the studs out. There's no clearance
i know there is a trick no its not a hack job i done a lot no problems
Didn't know that, I would have rather done that instead lol
