That kept me busy and snowed in for 6months. There is always small game like rabbits that once in a while appear. Concentrate on your dried or canned beef stores and beans, smoked hamm hocks and belly's. Dried split peas & blackeyed peas,. Salt pepper Flour and sugar. Me, I store up on these and coffee along with dried onions potatoe flakes, rice and noodles. I use 5-gal buckets&lids too store thee excess till I need to restock thru winter. My creek freezes over, but honestly theres no better tasting water than fresh fallen snow. Not bottled, filtered or anything. Makes the most tender pot of beans and best tasteing coffee ! Not much else I can tell ta except, firewood. Have plenty ready, 6 to 7 cords covered and dry. I should really take that last one more seriously myself,, been going on 6 winters dropping and cutting almost daily every cold ass winter. 10/4 on the tinder box fire hazards. Was in the bootleg 418'000 acre wild fire in southern Oregon in 2022. 18 acres and everything I owned burnt. Over 4000 various pines and aspens,, all gone. Colorado, California suck. Down in rural Florida. Built a barn, re-siding the house, new impact windows, replacing the deck. I live 10 miles out of town on Ag land. No hassles. Ppl can visit in their campers, you can bring in a shed or a cabin. Town inspector came by. Saw I was rebuilding after the hurricane last year. No issues with not pulling permits as long as you meet the min setbacks. They didn't even care about no permit for the house stuff. Their comment? I see you are improving stuff before the storm season comes, great. And no income tax.

Ha Ha! You dont even own your land. If they want it they just say, i think its imperial domain and give you a few penneys for it and you have to take it or they condemn it and steal it anyway. I was born in co in 49 and growing up was so nice. You could drive in the in the national forests and camp at any mt campsite for free, no permits, reservations. Permits just make it lawfull to make you jump through their hoops so everyone gets their greedy little hands filled with money for nothing.

The way the build and control housing and hotels is designed to separate people as much as possible. I wanna live with someone in the city but need 2 br, 2 baths and 2 kitchens in ONE apt and nobody builds it that way. Out in the ranch and farm land stuff like that can be arranged but not unless people can live on the property as if it's their own. That tends to boil down to camping, building little shelters, tent living, or RV's and sharing don't work because energy is shared and people start getting into each other's energy on the same land, in the same house or whatever. Who get's what. The one's that don't are children too young to figure out how to take off to get the get's in life, given to the young via jobs the most.

I have a car that no longer runs. We’ll probably sell it, or maybe get it fixed but for now, it’s in my driveway. Out in the country on 5 acres. I pay my property taxes but I ALSO have to pay “property” tax on my vehicle… which is sitting on my property , which I pay taxes. Does this not seem like a double tax ?! 😡
