Starlink Internet Hardware Nightmare & Septic Inspection Update

  • We lost Starlink internet do to a hardware issue, while their support was mostly responsive, the outcome took over three weeks as they kept guessing at the problem instead of fixing it based on what I was telling them. Between each support task, they shipped out new equipment but there was at least a week between each ticket interaction which made the process really bad. I am totally happy with the service itself, the internet is really fast and reliable. The support process was not ideal. Overall I am happy with the outcome, the process was not very good. Also, the septic tank officially passed inspection so I will be working my way to building a small cottage hopefully next year. I am doing it debt free so it will take time.

    can you stop the service when your not there? do you have to notify them or do you just turn it off? thanx

      Yes, it is possible to pause service but I'm not sure if it's available on the fixed location service. I know it is available on the Starlink Roam product. www.starlink.com/roam

      Actually, pausing is only available it seems on the roam service. www.starlink.com/service-plans
