My first car a 850 mini , two tone, green and rust, with the long gear lever, great car , gave me the freedom of having my own car. Second car was a Mini 1275GT amazing car fantastic acceleration, but ran out of power at around 79 / 80 mph. Then I lost the plot and bought an XR2

Hi mate. Recently became a classic mini owner and am enjoying your videos. Interestingly my wife was a Toone with an ‘e’. Anyway, got a plate on retention. Just put it on my Cooper and was wondering who you use to make your plates?

Bronze yellow, great colour. Friend of my late parents had a new MK3s in late 1979 on a J plate. I liked the fact that it was so close to an 850/ 1000 in appearance. I like the MK3 S best. Did have a 68 MK2 Cooper for a while.

Ive got a mk1 morris 970s and a 98 JCG with 1430cc and 6 speed and the 970s is an absolute blast. What engine is in this mk1? Any mods?

the old mini does not have door mirrors, reverse light and fog light! and will still pass the mot. as they were never needed when the car was made

Hi Alex, the adjustment for the seats in the Mk 3 was on the right & side. Used to own 2, a 1969, J reg & a 1971/72. K reg. the 69 car didn’t have the seat adjustment.

Wheels look great and hoping to get a set with A008's....but have concerns about catching the wings on full lock. Before you increased the height ...did it clear the front arches when turning and was it on standard height before ? Thanks.

With my Wolseley Hornet I'm very seriously considering converting the front drums to Cooper S disks, and getting some nice white Cooper S steel rims so they fit.

I had a beige one on the farm when l was 15yrs old and I learnt to drive in it, brilliant little thing 👍
