Kubota RTV 900 - oil change
Time to change the oil on the 2005 Kubota RTV 900 4x4 diesel side by side. It’s a quick video and you’ll need ~3.5q of 10w30 oil, a Kubota HH150-32430 oil filter and a 14mm wrench. Good luck!

could you tell me where the cabin filter is on this truck
Mine is flashing blue and won’t charge does anyone know a solution?
What manufacturer , make/ model is the torque wrench you are using. Thanks
That particular one is a precision instruments torque wrench. I bought that a bunch of years ago when precision instruments still had the contract for making snap on torque wrenches. Personally I own a bunch of different brands/models/sizes
Thank you. Excellent instruction video
Great, thanks
U SIIRRRRR ARE THE MEN.. THIS GOES TO SHOW U 2YRS LATER AND STILL HELPING PEOPLE OUT HERE.......ALWAYS POST UP DONT MATTER HOW MUCH TIME PASSES BY SOMEONE WILL ALWAYS NEED THIS HELP....THANK YOU SIR A MILLION TIMESSS....GREAT VIDEO AND EXPLANATION..
I’m glad it was helpful for you!
Fully support what you're doing, my dad has me doing the exact same, but I just need to know where the oil pan bolt is. But I'll give you a sub and view. Thank you
It’s not an oil pan bolt, it’s an oil hose that you drain so you can get the oil out of the frame
Great Video! Subscribed !
Much appreciated!

I like how you don't re-use your adjectives for any of the asshats/idiots/etc throughout the whole video...keepin' it fresh! :D
Hahahhahahahajhajajajaja. Thank you, I laughed good at that one!
Should we clean the remaining oil that’s left inside the oil filter housing or is it ok to just dump the new filter on without wiping it down?
I tend to wipe everything down before I put it all back together. I like to make sure there’s no grit or dirt in and around the filter & housing
@@beardedgarage thank you
it cost me 150 CAD last time, I am gonna do it myself, thanks for sharing!
Good to hear! I waited on an oil sale and picked up a bunch! Now I’m doing Mobil 1, with Mobil filter for $19
Thanks for the great video!! The link doesnt work anymore tho:/ still have the link? I need one!
I just clicked the link and it worked, that pump is no longer available from Amazon. I think it’s just out of stock
Nice video! Very helpful! One thing I noticed you didn’t adjust the striped kit.
Great point. I checked the striping kit and it was adjusted properly (e.g. level). Unfortunately it doesn’t stripe my lawn well because “crab grass doesn’t stripe well”
Clumsy damaging way demonstrated to compress the pistons, best to use a brake pad compressor. A compressor doesn’t damage the face of the calliper.
To each his own. I’ve done it with pliers, screw drivers, compressor, etc. as I said in the video, I’m sanding and painting the calipers so I didn’t care about the face of the caliper.
Great video. I recently bought a 2006 f350 dually king Ranch, previous owner gave me the door code which also activates the ignition start. Please, do you know how I can deactivate this code? I have a fob now that I programmed to unlock and lock the doors. Thank you
Exactly the video I needed. Thanks!

what degrees angle for sharping blades to sharper them
Most lawnmower blades are 30º
Can you share any other tips on getting that connector out? Last thing I want to do is break it. I’ve been working on it for about an hour
Are you talking about the fan connector with the red tab early on in the video? You have to get in there and look at it, the red piece pops out and then pull it apart. It’s a royal PITA, but it definitely comes apart
would use sandpaper disks as will leave a smother finish
Not a glamorous job, but certainly can be challenging! Nice work! 👍
I used the 3M adhesive and although it worked great on the felt strip, it didn’t adhere at all to the rubber strip. I had to strip that gunk off the sunroof but it left absolutely no residue stuck to the rubber. Any thoughts or any other adhesive recommendations?
I’d still use the same 3M adhesive, I’d just recommend using less than you think you should, apply to both sides (car and rubber strip) and let them get tacky before you put them together.
Thanks for the suggestions and thank you for posting what you do, adding an extra dimension to Porsche ownership!
I rubbed lacquer thinner on the rubber strip, let it dry, and it did wonders for the adhesion.
Awesome, thank you!
Beautiful car. The finest 911 series in my opinion. This is the only flaw on my 97 which I am getting ready to address thanks to your video. Thanks
Much appreciated, I’m actually glad someone is watching. We have a lot more videos, just need time to clean them up and get them posted.
Thank you!!! My end broke off and I was unable to fix it ... I bypassed it...and on mine the positive and negative was the same as yours. My son will be happy after school today!! Thanks again

Having a hard time finding the C1K2 oil filter. I wonder if the part number changed.
@@voiceofreason4399 I think it's cross-referenced a few different times. Last I remember the other model number was 696854, but it might depend on the age of your machine.
Have you done hydraulic fluid? That's next for me
What part of the frame did you twist the radiator back to? I have the same issue and looking for a temp fix 8:59
I just rewatched this video and it looks like we just didn't show the jerry-rigging of radiator to the frame. Apologies for that. It's been a while, but we took the grill out and had access to to frame components on both sides of the radiator on the top. The factory clips were shot and I was able to wire those components to the frame behind the grill.
Why wouldn't you just stick a piece of metal in the hole instead of cut the cord
Please help! I have revived one just like this, but I have another that the battery of blinking green. When I install it, no power will come on the Segway. When I plug it in with battery installed, it blinks like it’s charging and shuts off and repeats that. But since battery is charged the charger box shows solid green. Any ideas? Could it be motherboard?
Are you happy with how bright this bar is? Need to add any additional?
It’s actually pretty functional, and the light bar works well. After using it, now I kind of want to add smaller lights up on the ROPS, not because I need them but so I can see EVERYTHING!
This is a really nice size garage, compared to mine, I only got 20x20, not terrible small but I am struggling on decisions on where to put the columns; my project involves a 2015 Chrysler Town and Country, seems it is in dimensions pretty similar to your Honda, and then a 2000 Toyota tacoma which is little smaller, I cant dry fit the van because it does not run and its parked in the driveway, once lift in place will have to push it with work van which is Mercedes Sprinter up into the garage, i got a big driveway but slopped down slightly to the curve, I am thinking to set the columns centered 9 feet from the garage door edge closed, have to figure out the width; from the garage door rails there are 24" but all of the perimeter has shelves and cabinets except the for 4 feet in the center, the column closer to the wall will be mere inches from it, will be hard to drill the holes and work around there but if I move it farther away like 36" from it then the other one will be past the center of the garage opener, then when the van raises it will be preventing it from going all the way up; the garage opener sits right in the middle of the garage so this situation would be the same on the right or on the left, I believe from the edge of the garage rails to the center of the garage rail that carries it there are 7 feet, the van width is right under 6 feet so as you can see i have a pretty tight space here, one solution would be to clear all around the wall where the car will be closer to but this would require lots of time and plus I have no other place to move things, as a matter of fact still making space to move stuff out of the garage as it have been mostly storage for years and it have been full of years of hoarding stuff that I cant just throw away like tools, some big enough to take all the space; I have a project to built a shed room on the back yard 12x16 but that has not happened yet when I decided to get the lift because the van needs to be fixed, so big decisions which kind of funny stopped me temporarily from moving forward, also waiting for a hose, the creeper and those kind of accessories for this project; more space needed! Crazy!
How much does this machine cost?
I got it for 46

Perfect - exactly what I needed! We're coming up on our first time having to change the oil since buying our 2019 Odyssey around this time last year. I've always tried to err toward trudging through it myself vs. taking it somewhere, so this video was reassuring and also helped give me some key areas to keep an eye out for in hopes of staying as tidy as possible. Plus, I had to grin when I saw you use the same oil and filter combo that I do. I'm sure "other" brands will work just fine, but Mobil 1 has never let me down. 💪 That said, thanks for taking time to put this together! (p.s. You've earned yourself a subscriber!)
I’m glad it was helpful for you! Be careful on the mess it makes when you pull the filter, it gets all over the frame and drips for two days. It’s actually worth cutting up a cardboard box to jam up in there to deflect oil off the frame… and yeah, Mobil 1 & filter is what I run in 5 different cars and I always do my own changes!
You are the best ❤❤❤❤❤
Well thank you very much!
The outer most couple inches are what really matters. A nice straight edge does look good though
Hell yeah!
Nice
I can get my 993 C2 on the Maxjax without using wood blocks, mine is a pretty low car too. Instead of the Maxjax seat I use a BMW car seat in wheels, nice a comfy. I will need to pull my eng at some point to fix some oild leaks so have enjoyed the vids. Much appreciated.
I always use the woodblocks as well, that’s probably my biggest gripe with my setup. I’ve thought about upgrading my seat, but it works for now. I’m glad the vids helped; I’ve got a bunch more I need to post and few more I plan to make.
dude im tearing my hair out, i cannot for the life of me install the alternator belt (outter belt). every time i start torqueing the 24mm nut the outter pulley half will cock it self at an angle, will not stay flush with the outter leveling spacer/washer. belt is the correct size 760mm, i even have a 763mm belt. the 760mm is a porsche belt too. The inner belt went on very easily, cant figure out why this one is giving me trouble
I just went back and watched my video again to jog memory but I don’t remember anything weird with installing the outer belt. It went on pretty loose and by the time I pulled out the torque wrench it was already snug.
@@beardedgarage hey thanks for replying. i was able to resolve my issue, but with a larger belt. i ended up having to use a 775mm belt (basically the same as inner belt). i used 3 shims and what do ya know.. it worked with good tension roughly 1/4" deflection with finger at mid point. I have NO IDEA why the standard 760 or 763 will not work, not even close honestly. The smaller belts were biting hard against the flat surface where the shims are, causing the outter pulley half to pivot at an angle. The original 763 belt that came off the car had good tension but get this, it was missing nearly 1/3rd the teeth (increasing the inside diameter nearly 1/4" or more..) so that 763 belt originally must have been VERY tight. absolutely bizzare.
I have a 2016 tundra and my rear bumper also has the damage similar to yours. I wonder if that’s the same way that it comes apart
I'm pretty sure the body style was the same from 2014 through 2018 so it should come apart the same.
Great video. My unit works ok. But the fan is always running. It never stops. Do you have any ideas? Thanks
interesting. If I remember correctly, the fan is just used to fuel the combustion. It should come on when the unit comes on (before firing) and run for the period that unit is running, then shut off.
Great tutorial. Needed to see a few more pics and up close views of the parts and assembly before I begin my repair job. You provided that and more. 😂Now I just need a nice warm garage to do it in.
The warm garage is the key! Good luck!
Great video, what are those table threaded ends called that you put under the table?
As per your request! Remove the two bolts on the two casters on the front. Install nipples and grease. Reinstall the bolts. Dont forget oil/filter and the trans oil/filter😊 Why on earth are you cutting in a mud bog🙄. And it may be a good idea to clean before you work on it. Did I fill the " give you crap" quota. Otherwise..nice vid!
my son drove into the water, the segway was all wet, I dried it, when I turn it on it does not work, unscrewed the battery, it works and charges, but when you plug it in, it does not work, any ideas how to restore it?
