- This 2010 VW golf was overheating when parked and it turns out the radiator cooling fan was shot, so we had to replace it

What part of the frame did you twist the radiator back to? I have the same issue and looking for a temp fix 8:59
I just rewatched this video and it looks like we just didn't show the jerry-rigging of radiator to the frame. Apologies for that. It's been a while, but we took the grill out and had access to to frame components on both sides of the radiator on the top. The factory clips were shot and I was able to wire those components to the frame behind the grill.
Can you share any other tips on getting that connector out? Last thing I want to do is break it. I’ve been working on it for about an hour
Are you talking about the fan connector with the red tab early on in the video? You have to get in there and look at it, the red piece pops out and then pull it apart. It’s a royal PITA, but it definitely comes apart
Wouldn't it have been easier to remove from top?
We tried. Removing from the bottom was far easier
