They dont care. They'll message little jabs at you or send nice texts to bait you. Always trying to get a reaction. They immediately sex bomb someone else and never think of you again

After seeing the patterns, going no contact/gray rock with several friends and family members… I keep my distance from narcissists - from the start. The drama and emptiness is as clear as a big red flag now ❤

She may be the narcissist, but I choose to be me ( whom I have lost ) and in doing so intend to leave this dead end of a relationship with Valor . My golden years are mine to share not lose . The higher the 'intrlligence quota', the higher the likelihood of personality disorders. Growing up in a dysfunctional family means that you are the one who can deal with a narcissist better than the udder way 'round. Sometimes the guy upstairs tells you to be someone's man and you say 'Come again? Don't you think she has a say in this? I'm not really looking for anyone...' Living with a toxic husband is so frustrating because they distort reality to fit their agenda. I'm in a constant state of disarray, never knowing which version of my husband is going to walk in the door at the end of the day. It's about the same time last year when I told my husband the children I will like to go on a family trip this Christmas and he told me he doesn't think he will be available for Christmas as he will be traveling out of the country for work everything was fine, a month before he was supposed to travel I woke up that morning and asked to see his phone to check the time and he handed it to me and saw it was unlocked a message come in from WhatsApp and i opened it where I discovered he had been sending naked photos of himself to someone and was also planning to travel for Christmas vacation with this girl from his work place. When he realized he had handed me his unlocked phone, he pounced on me, snatched his phone back, and smashed it on the floor, but I had already seen it. As it turns out, he'd been chatting with someone but I decided not to question him. I wasn't sure how to react cause I didn't even geta chance to know who the girl he was texting on the other end. I saw a touching story here of how a someone found out her husband was cheating, decided to contact the hacker she recommended through a link she posted here, he cloned my husband's phone without physically touching it. All I did was send his phone number to him and through a remote link sent to my mail, I was able to access all of his texts, emails, Facebook and Instagram chats, real-time call listening and his long deleted messages as if the phone was physically with me after reading his chats I found out he was texting a younger woman in his office and it was clear that they regularly had sex, I have no idea how long he has been doing this cause they had developed an emotional connection that they where planning on spending the holidays together leaving his family. My narc dad lived a fantasy his feet never touched the ground. That’s how detached these entities are. We need to stop seeing them as human

My narcissist ex has lifetime control over me by not letting me see my own son. When I tried to do something to resolve this it cost me my reputation and now have a restraining order against me. I am at wits end and feel like just ditching him as my son, I don’t want anymore of my life polluted with her toxicity.

My ex didn't really put me down. She caused a ton of drama and stress which pushed me to end it and then work it out. Our normal days were rare and eventually she cheated. Her final attempt to hurt me was when she slept with a guy from her social media. Then started parading around with another guy in front of my friends. She also reached out with the love bombing texts and the passive aggressive texts. It was all very subtle. She preyed on my empathy. Exploited me. So dont think that because you weren't verbally assaulted you didn't deal with a narcissist or trauma. The trauma bond comes from having inconsistency in the relationship. Being given a glimpse of good to keep you fighting. They mirror you so me being a confident guy with good boundaries means she had to fawn for me to get me in her fantasy. In dating terms i am a 9 or 10 for sure. She replaced me with a 3. And shes excited about it. She doesn't care at all. Its all about validation and control. They are good at what they do. All day every day scheming. Imagine all the ways you could trick people if you tried 24/7. Its deep

This is where I was. I was friends with a narcissist. But, the most important lesson she taught me was, if someone doesn't know that friendship goes both directions, you are better off without that friend in your life! I am seeing a counselor. I realized that I was expecting my friend's verbally abusive behavior to happen again. My counselor is teaching me how to put up firm boundaries. I have realized that doing so benefits everyone concerned! If people can see your growth, it can inspire them to grow as well! Different people make different choices! You don't need to be afraid of history repeating itself with different people! Now, I identify as an empath. I feel other people's unhappiness. It is quite easy to fall into the trap of feeling responsible for making other people happy. BUT, I have realized that each person has to decide for themselves to be happy with their circumstances in life! Recently, along a similar vein, I realized that I was taking it personally if I couldn't reach someone I care about. But, if someone isn't ready to make positive changes in their life, it isn't a failing on your part! ...My friend wanted to make me more like her. I have free will, and I have chosen growth. They intimate or it seems that they think they are emissaries of righteousness and/or that they are an individual purveyor of strange absolute ideas concerning any kind of subjective “truth” that might give them a feeling of God-given authority over all and everyone they seem to encounter in their lives! Doctor in my case I didn’t abuse my boys; but one of them is a narc like his father. Full of hatred towards me and his sister now at 19 he acts superior then me . And tell his sister you are nothing !
