“When you’re looking through a cookbook and you come across a recipe the makes you say ‘Whaaaat?’, that’s the one to try.” I’ve never hear this explained so succinctly!
Looks tasty! This is Definitely a new level for blue box Mac n cheese! It turned out creamy and cheesy and yummy! From 1979 my birth year yay. Another great retro dish Jill! Hope you have a wonderful weekend ⭐️🧡🍸
These 70's recipes are always so fun!! I would totally eat this! My mom always made us Kraft mac and cheese when we were little!
Wow! This Mac and cheese soup looks extremely comforting and delicious! Nicely explained and well prepared
'79 was my-tee-fine 🎉😅 Thanks for bringing us along on this time-line travel 🍛🍽
It's my absolute pleasure! The 70s are my hands down favorite decades! I have lots of videos from that my-tee-fine decade! 🍸
@yesterkitchen I most certainly look FORWARD to doing some REVERSE kitchen time traveling! Going to put a new 9 volt battery in my transitor radio and crank up Casey Kasem's 1979 Memorial Day weekend countdown 🇺🇸 Glad I found your channel 🥳
Jill, I love everything about this but the green beans! Maybe you won't mind too much if I use frozen peas, carrots, and corn? At least I hope not.☑✔🏁
Not at all!
Yummy, yummy Soup my Soul Sista and I love Mac and Cheese!!! This made my mouth water 😋
Jill, this looks so good, I cannot wait to try it.
Another great video.
Hello Jill 👋. Thank you for sharing this recipe! Looks really good. Would also go with some fresh hot out of the oven beard. Yum ! Lol Have a great weekend my friend. 👍🥰👍❤️😊🍸🍷
Whaaaaaaaaat?!???!! Oh Jill I am SO making this what a fantastic dish!!!!!!!
Looks yummy. With a date of 1979, American swill beer would be about the only thing available in lots of the US (with the possible exception of Foster's, Heineken or Molson) so Bud's an on-point choice. OTOH I recall Busch being very popular at the time, at least on college campuses. ^_^ Have a great weekend.
Looks good, as a non drinking alcoholic, I will leave out the beer . Keep those videos coming.
So, you pair it up with the cheesy bread you showed us using the cheese packets a while back?
I think that was your first recipe I commented on.
It was so good! 😋
Keep up the wonderful work Jill!
And I'm going to try this one too.😉
Hey, Jill 🧡🍁🌻. What 😮. Never heard of this one! FYI😂 I had already typed “what” before you said it 😂. This sounds downright delicious ❤
Have you missed me, Jill?
Im definitely trying this recipe, though im leaning toward leftover chicken instead of ham.
June!! So great to hear from you!! I hope you are doing well! I use the trivets you made for me all the time!! And of course chicken would be just fantastic! I stopped filming about 8 months ago but I still get all my comments and I'm so happy to see yours! 💕❤️🍸
Looks good. Does it taste like beer? I guess this isn't good for kids, unless the alcohol in the beer cooks out?
Hi Ava! The taste of beer is very faint but it is there and really makes a soup. It doesn't boil long enough to cook out the alcohol but you can try alcohol free beer and that way you would have the flavor without the alcohol. I've had beer cheese soup when I was a kid and never had an issue but of course the parents need to make those decisions.
@@yesterkitchen ok thank you for the info.
