@Vortex It would be nice to have pictures of each gun from the side and from the front added to the forums for help in identifying them in the wild as driving by. Especially with all the guns available this time. Kind of a spotters guide

Leo loves using them for rear shots with their buddies down road gives time for the po po to be rolling and jump into traffic for the pull over

Testing is still being conducted and it’s gonna take time for everyone to compile and present the results. Once they do I’ll be able to share about the results. No ETA yet though.
1. Is the audio married to the numbers only? If my jammer works, will the officer still hear audio?
2. Can it (or any gun) save a screenshot of the viewfinder?
Are the dragon eyes still the nemisis of jammers? Been out of the CM scene for quite a while.
Curious, did you find any of the random general public that happened to have jammers?

Are you testing any Uniden R9 installs?
We tested two or three R9 installs. That jammer performs phenomenally. We were all very impressed.
Looks like what the local police department here in SC (NMB) has....and yes laser jammers are illegal in my state...😢

Well, I mean, that’s literally the point of our testing, lol. There’s still a lot of work to be done to get the results ready to be shared so in the meantime I’m working on some videos of the lidar guns themselves, especially the ones that I haven’t had a chance to see in person before.
Just wondering soemthing. I see CHP in Southern California using similar devices. Why can't my Unden R7 pick up these lasers?
The beam size is very small, only a couple feet across at 1000 feet away and they are usually targeting the bumper or headlight areas so unless the beam moves high enough up on the car it wont hit the detector. An RD won't reliably save you even if it picks up the beam as the gun locks your speed faster than you can react to your radar detector and brake in most cases... some detectors are better at detecting laser than others, but it's still usually just letting you know your speed was already measured.
@@bravohjb4099 Copy that. Is the new Uniden R9 able much more affective at detecting laser? I thought I seen a video you made awhile back.
It's now a jammer the R9 correct?
@@anythingadrenaline4515 The R9 is an installed Radar detector (a remote installed version of the R8 essentially) and a laser jammer. The radar and laser heads get mounted to the front grill and the rear of the vehicle to detect radar from either direction (arrows) and jam laser from either direction. We did a ton of testing of a bunch of laser protection systems this weekend so there will be much more data and information on them forthcoming.
Best “radar detector” out there that can pick up laser… v1. V1G1 & V1G2. They’ve picked up scatter many times for me.
Saved my butt two Thursdays ago… I got hit with scatter. I slowed down. Then got hit with direct hit. Unmarked LEO went after the other guy.

You recommend UNIDEN DETECTORS and now recommending RADAR GUNS? So, whose side are you on now? I don't understand why we would need the gun unless you are HIGHWAY PATROL? 😂
huh? Have you ever heard the expression “know thy enemy?” It’s important to have tools like this to test our CM’s in the first place (how do you think we test laser jammers…), not to mention you gain invaluable knowledge about LEO’s capabilities and limitations when you spend time on the other side of the radar and laser guns.

Exactly why the military likes to get their hands on their adversaries equipment. Evaluate and nullify.
