  • Although mature and upright and a big 1100cc machine, the Honda’s easy to get on and ride and, when you do, that reworked engine comes to the fore and is simply sublime.

    Amazing bike. It's purely classical, no modern details. Nice!

      No. Not if you wind it on but you dont have to because the torque is like nothing else. It does everything you want below 3000 rpm even move at 70mph in top. Its an absolute pleasure to ride.

      Kwak has far better engine, this 'review' is pure shite, waste of time, gay music too.

  • @rosewood1

    Not a great review. Does it get ABS? What is handling like In the dry and especially the wet? How is the seat for long distance. Honda seats in my experience get bloody uncomfortable on a long day ride. Great looking bike. Love the big air cooled engine. But ...

    • @michaelbailey8729
      @michaelbailey8729 Před 4 měsíci

      Yes ABS. Handles like a blade, very planted, no surprises. Seat comfort depends on your muscle density and fitness. My backside goes to sleep after an hour or so but never any post ride aches. I'm 64.

    I will read the specs of the sheet Honda gave us, Seamless fuel tank at last, a a dual bending valve front fork, whatever that is and much more.... 3.24 mins of pure redundant waffle.

  • @stevenrichards3699

    Honda screwed up on this one ! They tried to blend the classic bike with crotch rocket features ( i.e. low seat height, rearward mounted controls, too little padding on the seat, short handle bars etc.) ! If they would have built a sit straight up bike, with the foot controls straight down, with a higher seat height , laced wheels, and a choice of 5 colors, they would have hit a home run, and they would have not been able to make them fast enough ! I was all set to buy one, until I took one for a ride. Very poor design. They tried to appeal to all riders. They should have designed it just for a 6 ft tall baby boomer.

    • @michaelwhelan564
      @michaelwhelan564 Před 4 lety +1

      With all due respect I totally disagree with your view and I'm a baby boomer 6 footer. Still "difference" is what makes the world an interesting place!

    • @timwild6129
      @timwild6129 Před 4 lety +1

      That doesn't sound anything like the bike I've got.
      I don't think Honda screwed up at all.

      Thats exactly what I am and I love mine. So your spot on. I dont like the sit up style of the Tracers, R1200 Rs etc. Think they look a bit strange and high CofG in fast corners.

  • @stevelampard
    @stevelampard Před 4 lety

    I was hugely disappointed with my test ride on the CB1100. For an engine of that size to be as underpowered as it was is a joke. Complete deal breaker.
