Good job greasing those bearings, but those are oil bath bearings. They get lubed from the gear oil in the axle. That oil seal will never seat in the hub either. Supposed to install the oiled bearing in the hub then install the oil seal then assemble the hub on the axle. That spindle wont last 10,000 miles.
The number of people who think those are oil bath bearings is a little surprising. Those are, in fact, grease packed and not oil bath. The 2.5 and 5 ton military trucks are built just like this and it used to be commonplace. Theres a seal in the hub that seals the diff oil from the grease in the hub. American corporations thinking how they can get ppl to eat that grease
Why are you so obsessed with America
@@jb76489 cause it’s the only country that feeds its people poison. Crisco is plant based axle grease. Germans invented it to lube their tanks gears. We eat it in the USA.

Колодки забыл помазать и ещё диск сцепления тоже помашь
Смотрю видео и хотел написать про колодки, прочитал комментарии, опоздал, уже посоветовали.
нет на колодки смазки уже не хватило
Good job greasing those bearings, but those are oil bath bearings. They get lubed from the gear oil in the axle. That oil seal will never seat in the hub either. Supposed to install the oiled bearing in the hub then install the oil seal then assemble the hub on the axle. That spindle wont last 10,000 miles.
Я сначала подумала фарш 🥩 крутят на мясорубке 😁😁
Я тоже по превьюшке думал, что это мясо 😂. Многие иностранные комментарии тоже об этом пишут.
Oil bath all the way around is the standard now, but it used to be this and these are still in use all over the world. Just because you've never heard of it doesn't mean it's incorrect.
Like every land cruiser.
Да нет, мужик, это просто обычный масляный массаж ступицы и подшипника. Ты посмотри как нежно он наносит смазку! 😅😅😂
Why did they do that? Why add a seal that serves no purpose?
@@nspro931 pay attention young man
Was wondering this myself since I've only ever seen oil bath hubs, thanks for the info 👍
We need more women in this industry! Equal rights!
Imagine how hes going to feel when he puts the cap on and it saws oil only.
Switch the oil cap to a grease cap...

@@Boberto385 It’s not so much more versus less as it is something versus nothing lol
@@Boberto385economies that grow always focus on all aspects of industries. Nobody skips the safety part. You can see world war I and world war 2 had some questionable safety practices but still had safety standards and incentives and implementation and they did it. It's not about thinking. It's about doing it. You can see they only document safety after they practice observe and implement everything. The huge paperwork and standards are not just there for the sake of paperwork. Safety was a working aspect firstly and thereafter literature on all thing safety came to be.

yeah Idk what kind of grease that even is. lol and he's not even using a seal on the back of the hub? like why not just throw some dirt in there now and get it over with

1. I thought that was chicken in the thumbnail
2. When he puts the 2 squirts of grease its at the same time as some electric tool in the background so it looked as if the grease was coming from some tool due to the perfect timing but it was in fact a bag.
This video got me a couple of times.
That looks like 25 percent grease and 75 percent wax 🤔
Its thick industrial ep2 grease for hot temperatures ep0 is watery for cold temperatures
