- You do NOT need to follow the Thaiphoon Burner application process should you be using 1067 MHz RAMs. Those steps are only meant for RAM sticks that are of other speed.
Mac compatible RAM: amzn.to/1zlMDIS
Thaiphoon Burner: www.softnology.biz/
Do consider the total costs and effort before buying your RAM sticks. It might be cheaper simply purchasing "Mac-Compatible" RAM that will work straight out of the box.

I’m running 1333 ram on my mid 2009 17inch macbook pro with no issues!
This is so great. Thanks a lot wow! It just made my day!
Is there raelly NO OTHER WAY to install the new RAM???
I used the old 4+4GB RAM from my iMac that the former owner replaced with 8+8. So now I had 4+4 that just laid around.
I pu the he 4+4 into the MBP 2010, but it is only showing me 2+2 (still only 4GB of RAM. Why does this have to be so difficult???
I have 8gb 1067 mhz, can I pair it to 8 gb1066?
only works on the paid version?
Thanks for the clear video. Is your mac still working fine after the Thaiphoon procedure?
Yes still working fine up till today
Great, will try it myself on my old MBP 13"!
Question, I was about to buy a pair of 8GB PC3-8500 (16GB / 1066MHz Total). So you are saying that you can't simply install a pair of 8GB DDR3 PC3-8500 because you need to downgrade the clock speed? It was my understanding that the Macbook (Mid-2010) was capable of supporting 1066MHz RAM, why would it be necessary to downgrade the clock speed of it?
did it workout? do tell
@@gaurav_W Yes it can support 16GB of RAM and the clock speed of the RAM is done automatically by the system only when two different frequencies are used between both DIMMs modules but since I'm using 1066Mhz for both there's no need.
It's dont work on a mid 2010 15'' with I7
Neither on i5 😒
is this a 15" model?
Justin Walker 13" if I remembered correctly.
Can I use a Virtual machine to run Thaiphoon on windows?
I have never tried that but the virtualization might restrict the writing on the memory stick so it might not work.
ya I tried, its restricted.
