How to Fix Freezing 2010 MacBook Pro When Installing 8GB RAM

How to install 8GB of RAM in 2010 MacBook Pro and fix the problem with it freezing when booting the OS. Basically, this occurs if you're trying to use DDR3 1333MHz memory instead of straight 1066MHz memory. The SPD EEPROM chip of your memory module is permanently write-protected!

means that the ram is most likely loose and you didnt seat it right, or it's bad ram

I have the freeware version, and I cannot seem to save the changes after setting to lower speed. in other words, it will not allow me to check any of the boxes 2 save a dump file or write the changes. Please help!

Dude, Thaiphoon Burner needs to be run as !!!!ADMINISTRATOR!!!! Select "Run as administrator" from a context menu and you will be lucky!

Thaiphoon Burner in trial mod is useless. Need to buy it for enable all fonction.
Another solution is to dl version 6.7.7.0 build 0424 Final and launch this one on windows xp via virtualbox or another boot.
