I can do a solid +10 reps of clapping and chest taps already. I noticed many said that the back claps and the superman isn't that far away to be unlocked after you mastered the first 2 I mentioned.
Edited: Ive succeed in executing the Superman. Altho not 100% perfect straight (yet) but thanks to you Ive learned to do it properly and safely. Cheers.

Getting a weighted vest could help too. Once you use the vest for a couple sets when you take it off you’ll feel so much lighter.

Oliver Young because you do it wrong, the part that need to be push is your triceps and hip, not your elbow, tried to do it slow and focus on the part that need to do the work.
you need to work on your triceps and hip. Sometimes I get triceps sore (near the elbow) too after executing loads of explosive. Muscles soreness = more gainz.

I can do 30-40 push ups in a row, but I'm struggling with the clapping hands ones.
Record yourself and actually check if you have good form in both normal pushups and clapping pushups
RoyalHunteR maybe you're not building enough strength (hypertropy) but endurance. if you workout more than 12 reps per set will more likely increase your endurance of that training. thus, maybe the reason you feel difficulty doing clapping push ups

Hey Austin- ive been training calisthenics and a bit of weight training and ive noticed my dominant arm is visually cut more than my weaker left. I train the amount on each and maintain proper form on both sides so its not because of that. I do train boxing which could be responsible since both arms have different roles in the sport. Anyway will this even out with time? And what could be responsible? Thank you and nice vid

It means you should start doing some extra isolation movements for just your left. One arm pushups, pullups, etc.
We also tend to contract our dominant arm more. There is a mental connection, so you have to actually focus on contracting your non-dominant arm. You might even notice that your non-dominant side pecs are picking up the slack for your non-dominant arm. Whenever you do an exercise, don't just worry about reps and numbers. You will gain muscle much faster if you focus on the purpose of the exercise and contraction of the muscles that you are trying to work out.

I do, 10 push-ups
5 diamond push-ups
5 wide push-ups
5 staggered each side
3 sets with one min rest
BTW I do them all on knees because it's too hard
Also I do,
15 push-ups
15 dips
15 floor dips
5 bicep push-ups, knees
3 incline
I do this on Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Is this good to build some muscle and see results by summer? And by results I don't mean shredded but noticeable muscles.

SilverBoyy you'll build up enough muscle to know you're not skin and bones. But you have to make them harder every week.

SilverBoyy never wait for it to get easy. Raise your sets and reps every two weeks or so. Try to incorporate harder exercises to your workouts as well. And most importantly, eat a lot!!! Specially after your workout(protein)! Good luck!
SilverBoyy Also do some pull excersizes so you don't develop muscle imbalances. It will also help you grow as well

I quit immediately when i heard do at least 30 push ups without stopping with a good form.
Never quit, keep pushing and trying, it gets easier, right now am at fifty pushups and i want to improve to be able to do handstand somehow by the end of the year...somehow! :)
30 push ups is way easier than any of the stuff in the video.
But that doesn't mean you can't improve explosive strength long before getting to 30.

How is it going now? Try to film your workout so you can identify your technique, maybe you doing it wrong? It's called "mind muscle connection" for a reason. Maybe your mind playing tricks on you.
It is not really a secret to it. It is doing the exercise with bad form. The butt-up thing you are talking about is what I mean
