Explosive Push ups - Chest Workout to Increase Punching Speed and Power

  • These is an explosive push up drill I do to increase my punching speed and power while building a powerful chest. Add it to any workout routine.
    Workout:
    Halfway up push ups - 20 explosive reps
    Halfway down push ups exploding off the ground - 20 reps
    Full standard push ups - 10 reps
    Do as many times as you like or add to the beginning or end of another workout.

    I'm Vitamin D deficient so as soon as I buy a D3 supplement I can start back doing pushups.

    How many sets of 50 do we do coach? And can I do this everyday still with getting results? Thanks!

      Just one is good. You can do more if you want do training splits like a set in the morning and another at night. You do it daily if your doing it just once. Be sure to mix in bag work to keep the snap or whip on your punches.
