I've been boxing for a little over a year now, and I'm really starting to kick up the intensity and intelligence of my training. He is not lying about punching weights. Been doing it since I was 16 years old I’m 29 now. It works, and I can confidently say I hit hard lol so this workout does work. Y’all try it y’all will love it 🥊 💯
Good workout, I used to do shadow boxing with 2.5 or 5lbs, or 30 reps of front and side raises with 10-15lbs .. love doing like 10 rounds on the heavy bag just ripping hooks that seemed to help me figure out how to hit harder. I gotta workout hard again so easy to be lazy after work
Today did a 10 minute run, followed by jump rope workout. Was able to go 1:30 seconds straight on the first try. 5 minute straight punches with 10 lbs dumbbells 2x5 minute straight punches with 5 lbs dumbbels 10 minute shadow boxing And ending with 100 burpees in 9 minutes 39 seconds Thanks for the video!
Salute brother, this is a serious training regime. It will build a lot of muscular endurance and really help inthe end of the round/ in later rounds.💪💪
Alright. I did 7 minutes Jumprope follow by light jog. 5 minutes with 10lbs dumbbells was an absolute struggle. Followed by 5 minutes shadow boxing with 5lbs. That felt great. Overall I am smoked and enjoyed the challenge.
This workout doesn't seem to focus on building punching power but it's good to build strenght and endurance in your shoulders. To build punching power you should apply resistance orizontally countering the direction of the punches. Best way to do that is from strict throwing object or with elastic bands.
I think it's terrible advice to tell people to practice punching with heavy weight. You're going to wreck your punching form and establish bad habits for the minor gain you'll get... That's why the make things like egg weights that don't get to a heavy weight. Many coaches/fighters that have the credentials to back up their claims also say the same thing. If this is all it takes, why don't we see professional boxers shadow boxing with 30 lb weights lmfao.
GREAT video!!!! Just came across this browsing while on break at work!!!! Honestly, been doing this for years!!!! Going back to old school!!!! Hell, at 51-years-old, still do my 5-7 miles of roadwork IN combat boots caring 2-pound weights in each hand!!!! Once in a while, i carry 1-pound dumbbells!!!!
im so glad i found this. thanks for the upload. i broke my fifth metacarpal back in december and i want to get back in to bag training. but im not ready to hit a bag yet. however i know i can do this and i will. this will help get that confidence back and strengthen those muscles for punching before getting back on a bag. i think i will do this for two months and then start very very light bag work. i have been back to weight lifting medium weight higher reps for the past month. hand feels good but i know not good enough to be smashed into a bag just yet.
Whata good thing to say and powerful calmness " train hard and be kind " nice on my man! And this training is very very mentally tough , i believe that much origress are about to come from this!

Thank you very much for this video, I really needed the motivation. I used to be pretty active years ago and I need to get off my lazy ass. Greetings from the tiny Pacific Islands of Palau! 🇵🇼
This was great - thank you.
He is not lying about punching weights. Been doing it since I was 16 years old I’m 29 now. It works, and I can confidently say I hit hard lol so this workout does work. Y’all try it y’all will love it 🥊 💯
Will this exercise make me hit harder and help me win fights at school even with out boxing experience
@@LapoliticsNo. A real fighter would tell you to not fight others. You could get killed.
ofc you would have a drake pfp
@@lilchanndo keep talkin behind that camera
@@biggestdrakestan 😂😂 you're right bro, last thing you want is to get into a fight, but his comment made me die of laughter
Good workout, I used to do shadow boxing with 2.5 or 5lbs, or 30 reps of front and side raises with 10-15lbs .. love doing like 10 rounds on the heavy bag just ripping hooks that seemed to help me figure out how to hit harder. I gotta workout hard again so easy to be lazy after work
10 rounds is savage brother!!! Hope your training is still going well!!!
@@CHEZCANTERE thanks! I dont train like I used to, but it definitely feels great to work the bag for a few hard rounds get the lunges pumping
That's legit the cleanest skipping rope form I've ever seen - Pure swag!
Straight savage bro! Earned a sub, you got me off the couch into the boxing gym with this one
Today did a 10 minute run, followed by jump rope workout. Was able to go 1:30 seconds straight on the first try.
5 minute straight punches with 10 lbs dumbbells
2x5 minute straight punches with 5 lbs dumbbels
10 minute shadow boxing
And ending with 100 burpees in 9 minutes 39 seconds
Thanks for the video!
nice job. keep that shit going man
100 in a row? damn man u strong
Always great video! Thank you for the amazing training, and drills! 💥💥🥊🥊💪💪
Hell yeah bro! I used to shadowbox with dumbbells back when I was in high school. Had some serious punching power!
Overall I am smoked and enjoyed the challenge.
get it brother!!! just keep consistent with those 10lbs dumbbells and it'll get easier!!!
@@CHEZCANTERE this is my morning routine. Day 3 and I am adding some more footwork and getting used to the burn 🔥. Thanks for lighting that spark.
@@mosjeffinately7822 definitely brother!!! please do keep me updated with your journey!!!
@@mosjeffinately7822 Let us know bruh how’s it going
Massive respect to you man....thanks for this....and i salute the end qoute you gave in the vid....keep it up, your techniques are crisp.....
Appreciate you brother!!!
Jesus! Your rope work is absolutely INSANE!!!! Excellent workout man. That was for real! You got a sub from me!!!
This workout doesn't seem to focus on building punching power but it's good to build strenght and endurance in your shoulders. To build punching power you should apply resistance orizontally countering the direction of the punches. Best way to do that is from strict throwing object or with elastic bands.
exactly. Sure, this will help, it's an intense workout. But if you really want powder, you neeed resistance against the movment you're performing.
Guys like these idiots need content , they gona say anything
Yo this is JUST what I’ve been needing. Thank you 🙏
Great stuff. Thanks!
Beast brother!!! Keep it up!!!
A great workout-Thank you for posting!
Def one of my favorite trainers bro. Been following u for a couple months
im so glad i found this. thanks for the upload.
i broke my fifth metacarpal back in december and i want to get back in to bag training. but im not ready to hit a bag yet. however i know i can do this and i will. this will help get that confidence back and strengthen those muscles for punching before getting back on a bag. i think i will do this for two months and then start very very light bag work.
i have been back to weight lifting medium weight higher reps for the past month. hand feels good but i know not good enough to be smashed into a bag just yet.
Hope everything healed up well brother!!! Just be sure to stay the path!!!
Whata good thing to say and powerful calmness " train hard and be kind " nice on my man!
And this training is very very mentally tough , i believe that much origress are about to come from this!
