First Drive of My Body-Dropped, LT-Swapped Chevy C10: Finnegan's Garage Ep.138

- My tube chassis, supercharged LT4-powered, six-speed gearbox-equipped 1967 Chevrolet C10 has officially hit the streets! After a decade of hibernation, the custom independent suspension, 20-inch Forgeline wheels and Mittler Bros Hydroshox are fully functional and I'm happy to report that I've rowed all six gears of the RTS/6XDgearbox.com billet sequential transmission. The Holley Terminator X Max efi system is far from properly tuned but after a few hiccups during the last day of the build, my friends and I were able to get a taste of the potential of this street truck. Now all we gotta do is drive the thing 300 miles back home to Georgia!

that was my idea when i bought a 73 elco was for me and my dad to do something together unfortunately since he retired hes lazy and wont hardly do a fucking thing
@@0Heeroyuy01 my dad was forced to retire so he was depressed. Much like your dad he would just lay around. It took my older brother having a talk with him to get a spark and it was like he was a new man. I think you just need to find that spark for him, and hey it could be as simple as a what if picture of the car when its done.

also my dad was forced out from were he had worked for 25 years along with loads of other people under the "idea" the company was moving to mexico but never did

The Chevrolet C10 is a timeless design like a Porsche 911 to a Ford GT40 its a true classic all of the way until 87 I really liked the mid 80's body. This truck is amazing 🇺🇲

The C10 is badass
A flawless test drive would have been severely disappointing. Nothing better than when Cotten just shakes his head. Says it all. Oh and, earplugs will solve anything.
I remember the episode this truck showed up and I've been waiting so long to see that truck move up and down, forward and backwards under power. It didn't disappoint. You all kicked all kinda butt.
Remember kids: It doesn't need to be good, just good enough. Otherwise you never "finish" it.
The only problem with that is when you "good enough" finish it and start enjoying it you either A, never really finish it or B, end up pulling it back apart for years again 😂
Oh I'll never finish mine but that's because she will always be a daily driver.

My 44yrs on this earth, owning harleys, and hot rods. I have NEVER heard a truck sound so EFFIN RAW!! I dont know what mufflers is on that thing but WOW!! I've got a cammed ls3 vette that I thought sounded good and that truck literally raises the hair on my arms. That's through headphones. I couldn't imagine in person. Good job guy. One bad ass build!

I wonder if it would be possible to make a 6 speed that was straight cut on gears 1-5 and 6th gear was helical so it was quiet for highway driving.
