I wish I had discovered these videos sooner and not two days before the exam that will determine if I get the job or not. Very helpful nonetheless, I'll keep practicing with these regardless of the outcome.

@@Interpretyourworld I landed the job, thanks for asking, but to be honest I still feel unqualified. But I guess there is nothing else to do now but to try to improve everyday and be ethical above all.
@@5pctd2br98 I feel exactly the same, some people get angry when you ask for repetition, but I think it is a matter of time, we need to practice a lot.

I feel the same way you did last year, I had an interview on Wednesday and I found these practice videos literally right after I got rejected from the job :/ they gave me another chance to try again in a month though so not everything is lost. How have you been? Did you manage to master the art of interpretation or failed trying? I'd really like to know because I think I'm at the same spot you were last yearđ
@@presidentean I tried last year and I didnt get the job, my English was so rusty I coldnt even remember how o translate some financial words in Spanish and I couldn't keep up with the speed, I was so embarrassed, life caught on and this year I started training myself to try again in few months. What do you recommend for vocabulary ?

Am I the only one who thinks the doctor speaks way faster than someone on a real scenario? Or am I wrong :( I'm so nervous. Starting my job on monday
Unfortunately they speak even faster than these videos. I think it is very useful to listen talk shows or news, to get use to the speed. Some people speak really fast, they don't care or they don't understand that we are translating them and that we are not natives! That's why we have to practice with these videos and with more difficult videos like news and talk shows (James Corden, for example, some people speak as fast as he does).
