I'm sick of these sovereign citizens getting away with stuff. I have a license. I have a restration and I have proof of insurance all up-to-date. If they don't have it, they should be arrested. And the vehicle should be impounded. Law enforcement needs to just hold the line and arrest them. Stop playing games with them impound the vehicle and take me to jail. 3:12

Not being a citizen is irrelevant. I'm not a US citizen but if i was in the US and broke the law then i'd be subject to the laws of that country. Its simple.
Exactly right. I rented a car in LAX and received a speeding ticket in Nevada. After returning to my home country, paid the fine online and that was the end of it. Too easy.

Exactly! Remember the moron who sprayed graffiti on a wall in Singapore over 25 years ago? He thought his US citizenship would exempt him from punishment. Then he was found guilty and found out WHY nobody sprayed graffiti because the punishment was caning (whipping) In any country you are subject to their laws and their method of punishment

Actually it was quite clear why the policer let the intellectually impaired guy drive away. He had some empathy for the guy's daughter, didn't want to traumatize her. A little human kindness on his part. He made it clear that it he daughter had not been there, he would have arrested the guy and impounded the car. Did I hear the guy refer to his car as a "Mercedes"? Instead of growing up hating policers, the daughter may acquire a balanced view, learn that sometimes policers show off their privileges, other times they use their privileges to protect and serve. The policer in this video protected and served the young woman. Hopefully some time in the near future ther girl's father will suffer the inconvenience of being arrested for driving w/o a license and having his Mercedes towed. If i were policer I think I would, however, have said to the girl "put on your seat belt please."

You can have insurance without registration. In fact you have to show insurance in order to register (at least where I live). I highly doubt he is carrying insurance though.

So, one of his excuses is that he is not a citizen, which to him means the U.S. laws don't apply to him. That's just great. With this logic, anyone can travel to any other country and do whatever they want without repercussions because they are not a citizen of that country. Brilliant!
The "Right to Travel" entails traveling without a motorized vehicle which requires an operators license. You are free to walk or ride a skate board or bicycle.
I think the right to travel is about moving from state to state. That is all.

However, if you also want to act as the OPERATOR of such conveyances, you are required to have a license and it must be licensed and the vehicle insured. You are free to travel as a passenger without a license. Driving is licensed privilege.

If that was my jurisdiction, I would have taken him to jail, towed his car, and let child services deal with the child. He was very fortunate.
There needs to be something that needs to go out on social media or mailed out to every person, stating that the sovereign citizen and “right to travel” is not an actual law, it is not recognized by law enforcement in ANY of the 50 states, and that in EVERY state, you must have a valid driver’s license, registration and insurance in order to drive on all roads, federal, state, etc, and that none of these sovereign citizen scripts and documents will not be recognized as valid and that every state has the right to make and execute their own laws, including laws regarding vehicles and licenses and registration. Something has to be done about these people. They are wasting law enforcement resources and taking up the court’s time, because they never pay their fines anyway.
Right to travel was to ensure the states wouldn't charge tariffs to citizens from other states. It's all about interstate commerce, while the tenth amendment allows states to regulate within their own borders.

Do these people think right to travel also mean they don't have to pay for tickets for planes, trains, and buses. It's like getting arrested for assault and saying you have a right to swing your fist. You do actually have a right to swing your fist, and you also have a right to travel. But you don't have a right to hit people or a right to drive a car without a license. Your rights, all of them, are subject to reasonable time, place, and manner restrictions. Requiring a valid driver's license is reasonable, as well as requiring registration for things like road upkeep if you wish to drive on public roads (you don't need it for your own private land).
I am getting SO sick and tired of hearing these officers respond with "i hear you", or "I understand what you're saying". Those words should NEVER be uttered by a police officer when having an emcounter with a sovtard.

Yes, your vehicle is your "private" property, but the streets and highways you are operating it on are PUBLIC and owned by Municipalities which are owned by the State, therefore, the State has the right to enforce RULES towards the USE of their streets and highways, like Mandatory License, Registration and Insurance!

So, when this guy gives his ID to the DMV, or when he buys alcohol, cigarettes, or when he has to present it for any other situation, does he refuse to give it to them, and tell them that if he presents his ID to them, then that means he is giving up his rights? I guarantee he has no problem showing his ID to anyone other than cops.
The fact that he's driving illegally with his child in the car, is the very reason to tow his vehicle.
