My brother, retired LEO, still had the best interaction that I've ever heard. He encountered a sovcit driving with his fake plate, he walked up to the window and said, "My name is....., badge#.......,blank police department, I will be your arresting officer for today. "

Holy crap I know this guy! I recognized his distinct Audi right away before I even saw his face. He squatted in my condo complex for over a year and was just removed by the sheriff's office last month. It was not a peaceful eviction either. He had two small french bulldogs that he let poop all over the balcony and swapped all the lights in his unit for purple LEDs that would glow at night. I thought he lost the Audi at some point because I stopped seeing it after a while and he started getting around on this little motorized bike thing. The HOA kept changing the code to enter the building so he couldn't get in. He was always hanging around on his little bike waiting for a delivery person to open the door so he could get in. Creeped everyone out and was an absolute nightmare to deal with. Can't believe I found him here!

That is all part of the game they play with the intent to waste enough time to make the officers give up. There is some belief that this ideology is correct, that is true, but 90% of it is word games based on trying to shirk resposibility, both financial and moral.

In just about every traffic stop one of the first things out of the cops' mouths are them identifying themselves. They aren't required by law to show citizens their driver's license. But the law requires us to do that. What is so hard about that?

I am particularly thankful to this park ranger for approaching this sovcit on account of him flying a drone, no less and FPV drone, illegally.
I am a FPV and camera drone pilot and have been in the hobby for a few years now and it still baffles me how many people don't take into account their surroundings or the local laws regarding flying drones, and especially when talking about powerful FPV drones.

My favorite one of the supervisor demand videos is the one I saw where he demanded a supervisor and the supervisor never talked to him. The officer explained the situation to the supervisor and he told the officer to arrest him without a word to the clown.
When I was a cop, about ten years ago these two officers were trying to arrest a guy for driving under suspension. Uninsured, license suspended for DUI, and dude keeps trying to pull away from them and get back in his car. Finally one cop pulls out a TASER and says "if you keep resisting I'm going to tase you". The dude tries to get away again and says "Get me your supervisor right now!" And the supervisor says, "I AM the supervisor. Tase him!" And there's a pop and dude falls over. It was freaking hilarious.

Back when my buns were 5 instead of 75 years old, they received that physical something extra that made me learn just that much better and faster.and I had buddies that learned just that much better and faster also due to that little physical "push" to learn. I really think it would help these solvcits learn somewhat better. Just giving them tickets doesn't seem to get through to them. A little Officer Sparky could possibly speed up the learning some.

To fly a drone as a hobbyist in the state of California (i.e. for fun / pleasure) you are required by the FAA to take The Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST). You are also required to follow the FAA's recreational model aircraft rules.
If it over 250 grams it needs to be registered and broadcast remote ID. He had an fpv over 250 grams and most likely no RID chip. He could face serious fines from the FAA.

The states should pass a law stating that id in the form of a license is required to operate a motor vehicle and the VIN cannot be blocked. That way, this putz produces or goes to jail. Period.

He has no ID that can prove that is HIS conveyance. Nor can the vehicle be identified by a VIN or a plate. Tow the car, arrest for failure to ID after drone violation, charge with possible theft of a car that he can not prove is his. For just starters...

In British Columbia, Canada, if your car gets towed for no license, registration or insurance, you have to pick it up within 30 days with a valid license, registration and insurance. Or it’s sold at auction. They’ll give you extensions if you call and explain that you don’t have the money, or need to transfer the title, etc, so as to not punish the poor. But it shuts guys like this down VERY fast. It’s expensive to buy a new car every time you get pulled over.

I think their lawyers charge them per letter and put it into an escrow account for the state to cover court costs and fees so that the court doesn’t just take their license to practice out

The judge should simply tell him that, as he does not recognize the authority of the court otherwise, he does not have standing to sue anyone in that course, case dismissed, GTFOH.

I still pay my utilities bills by check, as well as pay my special needs daughter's bills that way for position proof of payment in the yearly guardianship reports. I am sure that the days of using checks are numbered. I, myself, only use them for those few specific instances. And I am as old a hool as they come.
