- In this video, I am testing the 2023 @honda Civic e:HEV hybrid vehicle. The model here has the Sport Trim, with the Premium Crystal Blue Metallic Paint and 18 inches Piano Black wheels.
Overall, the car is nice to drive, the driving position is low but this is expected for this kind of car. The behavior of the car is pretty healthy and the steering is responsive.
The only down side is the power that is limited to other hybrid vehicles but then you can always go for the Type R if this is not enough for you.

I've got the same spec and colour. Brilliant car and great fun on a twist road. I've had mine 5 and a half months and covered over 21500km. It feels quick from a standing start too.

It looks like you are someone hitting the road pretty often. 21500 km in 5 months is pretty intense lol
Have you had any problems with the steering? some owners are experiencing so-called sticky steering.
@@pillred5974 When I turn the steering wheel and allow it to self centre, it's fine. It feels a little clicky when making very slight adjustments to the left or right when driving.
Hello, If you had a choice would you choose this Civic Hybrid or the Camry Hybrid?

I havenât tested the Camry Hybrid yet but I would probably go for it as it seems to be more spacious (family needs lol).

What is the road noise like at motorway speeds?
I have quite noisy roads in my neighborhood, hence I can always hear the road nice.
However, the car is pretty well sound insulated in my opinion. And if you manage to drive as often as possible in full EV mode, you will enjoy a relaxing ride!

does it feel rapid? some reviews make 0-100 in 6,9, some of them 8,5. huge diference. how so?
Overall, I found the car dynamic.
We are not talking Civic Type R type of performance though.
I think it would be possible to achieve the time you mention on a flat road or a slightly downhill road.
The road I tested this on was a bit steep hence the longer time.
The Elegance will be the quicker car, Due to its smaller and lighter wheels.

I guess you are talking about the Transmission here? It is in fact a CVT.
Regardless of the transmission, I found the engine sound pretty nice. I am used to the 3-cylinders petrol engines which really suck in terms of sound, so this was really nice to my ears.
