t is indeed an awesome car and I enjoyed it! As for the ground clearance, it is something recurring with Mercedes. I had the same issue with an E Class W213. Often, the car did scratch the ground when driving above speed bumpers. Really annoying.

I am happy for you that you managed to solve your issue. I also took it apart (and it was a pain to do) but I could not find anything wrong there sadly.

In my case, it was water on the motor control circuit board, it might be bad componenet on the board, and yes it was a pain to take it apart and put it back together again...

Je vais bientôt refaire une version plus longue et plus détaillée de l'essai de la A3 Competition TFSIe. N'hésite pas à t'abonner pour en profiter.

Personally not and to be honest, it is a pretty young engine so issues might not be well documented yet. However, for this kind of engine some known issues are the VANOS (variable valve timing system on the intake and exhaust camshafts). The other most known issue is a refrigerant leak that can affect the turbo apparently.

@@issman I was comparing a used X1, a used 320e estate and a skoda octavia ultra iv. I opted for the skoda in the end, being it brand new and after test-driving both estates. I am really happy with the car in terms of build quality, noise cancellation and engine responsiveness.

Thanks for watching it and the feedback! I am happy it helps people making a choice. Indeed an X1 30e has similar perfs to a 335i. However there are 2 drawbacks I believe will make it hard to decide: the weight of the X1 and the noise of the 3 cylinders engine. The extra torque and pure HP will maybe make it up for the added weight but this is not guaranteed. I would really advise to test drive it first! If you do, please let us know how it goes

@@issman I used the car in a test drive, and I've seen several other tests and lane assist works fine as well as adaptative control following a car in front.

Lane assist was also working in my case. It was just not working in a specific portion of the road where it was curved, see 13:28 It initially reacts well and follows the line but then it continues the movement outside of the road itself. As for the stop to follow option, I did not disable it myself but it is true that I did not go far in the settings. So it might be that someone had disabled it before me and I did not notice…

@@issman very well done on the video!!! I've seen too many videos on the 408 ACC (stop & go) and your video is the only one that really demonstrates how it works. I have realized that the "Stop & Go" operation makes the car to stop completely and accelerate again on its own, without the need of pressing any pedal. However if the car stops for more than 3 seconds then YES, you need to step on the pedal in order to move. Again.....very well done on your video!!!

Congrats on your new car @juliaguaquino! It is possible to have CarPlay for sure (not too sure for Android Auto as I am an iPhone user). CarPlay will allow to use your phone’s navigation app. But in order to work, it requires the Audi Smartphone interface option. If it is not enabled in your car, I would suggest to contact the nearest Audi dealer.

I haven’t driven extensively the car during winter conditions but to me this does not look very shocking to be honest. If temperatures are low, you put AC on and the road is not flat (like a hilly road) the range can drop drastically. I believe you will be able to notice a positive difference during spring and summer.

Hahah if you are referring to a BMW 328, it is certainly faster than the Macan. There is a huge weight difference of 300 kg+ (~650 lbs), the power output is the same (245 hp) but the torque is higher on the diesel engine as usual. Yet for pure performance, a petrol always wins in my experience 😊
