- This is my first standup comedy act, live in front of a Zoom audience. Sometime earlier this year I signed up for an online standup comedy workshop. I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and learn how to write comedy. I wasn't planning on performing for the student showcase but somehow I found myself doing it anyway. EEEP! I hope this inspires you to do something that scares you!

I never thought I’d be able to speak in front of a group, I’m really pretty shy, but I have several times...couple hundred people. Once you get started, it gets easier

I can totally relate to your struggles with your parents. I'm trying to be nice during Covid 19 and do so things for my mother so that she feels more connected. It's so frustrating.
Uggg... it's really hard to be nicer when everyone is more on edge and feeling uncertain/scared/etc.
