    I so know what you mean about false hunger due to lack of sleep. I'm going to keep it in mind today because I've been getting woken up an hour early and then wanting caffeine while I'm at work, where it's available in the staff kitchen. RESIST! 😂 Also, I made the broccoli cheddar soup this weekend - delicious!

    hello , i just have to say, those little doggies are so cute, good motivation to get out & walk. I eat a lot of spuds too, white & sweet, 2 lbs a day, at least, with another couple lbs of non starchy veg & fruit. I have terrible insomnia, since i was 38, at menopause, i will be 69 Jun5th.. I always feel more hungry, when i don't sleep too. I always said, "if i can't sleep, i need to eat". BUT, since 3 yrs 2 months ago, i don't have to eat. I still am able to do my IF'ing , from 5-6 p.m., to 12-1 p.m next day. I do get hungry around 8p.m & 11, but know i can make it thru & i do !! I been maintaining 99 lbs lost few wks now, maybe i should do a potatoe reset, but, it's all i eat any way, except, been eating lot, a lot of grapes, lately, i crave the hydration i get from them, i think. That was a lot of, dandelions , so pretty. I can't get anything but the regular orange sw. spud here in NS Canada, i see Chef AJ, & Tami Kramer have them, jelly !! Oh ya, got to love the ipots !! I batch cook too. Love the mug, Plants are medicine, Yes, they are, i got off 5 meds since i started & stopped a whole list of food/drink related illnesses . I must try that with the pot wedges & mash it & then air fry. I am in Canada, NS, 10 min drive to beach. I do do the starch solution, only Chef AJ's way, SOFAS free, i also don't do caffeine , only drink water & veg broth. Hope u got a better sleep . Today would be my parents 70 th wed anniv. . I do have my own little channel, just like my name suggests, i feel like a million bucks, & not 20 yrs older, but, 30+ yrs younger. Sorry this is so long. 💪🙏💖💖

    I definitely feel a huge difference in my cravings when I'm sleep deprived. We talk about this all the time on Lean with Plants.

      Chelsea and I are on the same page on a lot of things! I find any of the following 5 can lead to eating when I'm not actually hungry: lack of sleep, hormonal, boredom, dehydration or stress.

      @@PotatoWisdom YES to dehydration!! I've definitely noticed that too. Lack of sleep and dehydration for me. Stress causes me to stop eating and well, my hormones are pretty much quiet these days.

    I tried the potatoe reset yesterday and I failed. The sugar cravings were so strong that I caved. I’m so disappointed in myself.

      sometimes I like them without a sauce with just a sprinkle of salt and pepper (if they aren't too dry), and most times I like them with a plant based gravy. Roads End makes a great line of vegan gravies, or better yet, homemade plant based gravy is easy to make. McDougall's Golden gravy is super easy, if you google it, it should come up.
