- Thermalright Peerless Assassin has been one of the best valued cpu coolers you could get. Now the 7 heat pipe Thermalright Phantom Spirit has been released and could take over since it is similarly priced.
Using a Ryzen 9 5900X paired to a B550 Tomahawk. Running on Cinebench R23 using 12 cores and 6 cores. Fan speed is tested at 100% and adjusted to 38Dbs.
Tested on an open air Thermaltake Core P3 TG Pro.

Good comparison. I wasn't aware of the Phantom Spirit 120 until I saw this. The Phantom Spirit 120 EVO looks sick and comes with their more premium fans. I think I will go with that.
I wasn't aware of the evo until this week. It's a little more expensive than the regular phantom spirit. I have the arctic freezer iii 420 coming soon and then I might get the evo to test.

Thanks, Have both coolers. Have PA120 in a couple rigs, cooling 12th gen. Think I have a PS120 on 12900KF. Have a FS140 I have yet to use. Love this content though.

I'm pretty sure the fan clips are the same. Generic ones off of Amazon would work to.

The peerless assasin looks way better and the braided cables look 1000x times better than those sloppy plastic ones on the phantom
I find they both look good. There are many variations of each one. I do like the braided cable. I need to get the phantom spirit evo.
