Silver is such a humorous "investment" to me. The principle concept is the utility and relative rarity make it valuable. Then tou have marketers cone in and slap different symbols on them. All of a sudden, people are paying 20-50% more for one ounce of .9999 silver than they do for another 😂

Pound Sterling was/is the name of the English Pound... as Scotland always had their own called Pound Scots... there is not really a 'British' coinage since the union was meant to created a monitory union between Pound Sterling and Pound Scots... yet, Pound Sterling just ended up replacing Pound Scots, not long after Pound Scots was for the most part discontinued and its only Pound Sterling (i.e. the English Pound), this is mostly forgotten but in Scottish Gaelic... Pound Sterling... is still translated as Punnd Sasannach (English pound), so really 'British Coins' are technically English Coins.

Adolf's coin designs are my absolute favorite coin designs, probably the best thing any Adolf has ever done, but the 1916 S is my favorite WLH, I love the obverse mint mark and that it's San Francisco low mintage, first-year. Awesome coin! Those coins aren't junky junk either I've seen way worse examples, you got to remember these coins were not collector coins they were highly circulated and very low mintage with the 1945 P being the highest mintage of only 35 million if I recall correctly.

Hey, late seeing your video. I use these for all my high value silver coins - they are then displayed in Quadrum pages in a binder. Mine are numismatic coins. Well protected, always ready for display. Lower value coins are in cardboard 2 x 2’s in a blue coffin box.

Try aluminium bakingsoda and deionized water. Going from memory on the ingredients so it might not be right but is worth a try. I guess rap the coin in foil and place it in a bath of water and baking soda. Don't rub it. Don't know how long to leave it but maybe overnight.
