Great points on premiums! People complain about a $10 premium on a $250 (115 year old) gold rooster but they will gladly pay a $100 premium on a $15 silver rooster struck two years ago ...and they will gladly pay a $15 premium on $250 of Silver Eagles.
Excellent additions and great to add variety! I'm definitely going more towards gold this year, all the while picking up Ag along the way. Thanks for sharing 👍
Coin Clipping (shaving the edges) was a big problem and illegal. There was a small penalty if you were caught clipping coins, it was called "DEATH!" So instead of clipping they resorted to 'Sweating" the coins. They would load a leather bag full of coins and shake violently resulting in flecks of gold that accumulated over time. Also, during the 1500’s, the Spanish coins (Cobs) were not cut in perfectly round shapes. The weight was what mattered, not the shape. Cheaters would 'Chisel' a little bit off of the borders of the coins. A person that did this was known as a 'Chiseler' a term still used today for any type of cheater or swindler.
Great Video! That little tube packs a lot of punch! Yes, premiums on old gold are REALLY low, even on old pre-33 US gold. At 85/1 it is hard to justify buying gold but because of the crazy 'Prepper Premium' (20-50%) that kicks in on pre-33 gold whenever things weird, well I am a buyer! Nice Acquisitions!
man I love gold too! I don't quite have the 2:1 spread you do, (I would be broke!) haha! But I do like having gold in my stash, so I'm collecting the queens beast 1/4oz gold pieces.
I have always liked these types of coins but really don't know how to calculate how much you are spending on the actual gold content. Can you please let me know how you calculate how much the dealers are charging pre Oz. I have subscribed Thank you for your videos

I like the capsule filling approach, will do!

Definitely my style of stacking. Its my next step
DO YOU CUT OUT THAT FOAM YOURSELF? WHERE DO YOU BUY THE AIR TIGHTS?
I'm doing 2 to 1 according to the ratio. So 1 oz gold per 170 silver. Glad to see you getting the Latina. I've really been looking into them
Love the video, what size are those air tights?
Nice pick ups.

I like your plan to go more to gold. Those smaller sizes gives you the opportunity to get a better variety of coins. Not the same old ones.
I haven’t started collecting gold yet but when I do I think I’ll start with some Mexican or LMU series.
