I've never been bored stacking silver, mainly because I've never bought it for entertainment purposes. I buy it as cheap as I can, usually no more than fifty cents over spot at LCS, and then store it and forget it.
I couldn't agree with you more. Some stuffy people would say fun in stacking is stupid. I say c'mon. One oz of premium out of 20+ oz cheap bullion is no big deal. And when you flip premiums for profit, it drives average cost down. Great vid.
To keep me from getting bored, I purchase big Peace and Morgan Dollars. I buy them cheap (so they are a little worn) so I can clank em’ around in my hand, or pocket. I absolutely love the heft of them, and that special silver clinking sound.
If you don’t have any provident prospectors I highly recommend them they are brilliant looking . I really want to buy a coupe brittanias and some libertads or sunshine mint rounds my next paycheck
I carry a prospector in my pocket. I just started. Im logging its toning and pocket wear monthly. I really like how it sounds when i drop something in my pocket and it clings. A nice reminder to keep that fiat money and trade it for pm instead of a coca cola or candybar
Argent King oh wow , I like it so much I have it in a capsule ! Lol I don’t want to get any scratches in it and the buffalo rounds I just keep in a tube . You carry the newer prospector in your pocket ? That’s funny Bc I have been doing the same except I keep mine in the capsule .,. Is that how they get toned ? You just keep in your pocket all day without a capsule ?
I bought a monster box of the old Prospector series a few years back as well as a number of additional tubes as well. They are one of my favorite rounds.
Great tips...I agree, gotta keep it fun! I also like to switch it up & am really getting into some special lower mint 2019 world coins for my collection, for my standard stack I look for [old & new] unique 1-5-10 oz bars.
I’ve found I been having to do the same after just a couple months of stacking ! I first starting buying only 1 oz sunshine minting bars and 1 oz buffalo rounds I got bored so quick .. the last few purchases have now been the Aztec calendar the prospector round from provident the new design , and been buying junk silver cheap , standing liberties , franklins , peace dollars , barber dimes , barber quarters, barber half’s , and my favorite now is mercury dimes ! I can’t stop buying the mercury dimes
Corky H for sure just bought 6 barber half’s , one barber dime , and I now have some nice junk . None that are in great condition but their neat looking
To stay interested I buy peace and morgan dollars, poured silver, any series with skull rounds, and BU constitutional. Or anything that jumps out at me.
Great videos. I need to focus on not staying bored. But I get excited with all silver and gold hehehhe Also I diversify into real estate and other assets so stay pretty busy
My next acquisition will be Mike Maloney's (Goldsilver.com) Bull and Pegasus series rounds. I just bought 10 of the new SD Bullion Freedom rounds. I am also collecting a few 2019 NGC 70 Silver Eagles.
To keep from getting bored I usually buy two of everything. Then I try to sell the extra one for a few dollars profit. Makes.a fun game and keeps my silver costs cheap.
I do the same thing as you, as well as collecting vintage 1oz bars. A fun and cool thing to collect are those Perth Mint dragon bars/coins. It's a coin shaped as a bar. There are only 2018 & 2019 releases, so far.
kinda new at this and have been collecting a little of every category . got my first fine morgan and it is beautiful, didnt spend a lot on it. i think the isle of man coins are interesting. thanks for sharing.
I know I read or heard somewhere that China is producing most of the counterfeit rounds today. Have you weighed these? used a magnet? On the note of getting bored, I am trying to get sequential year silver eagles. Now here is a challenge.
Great Video! I feel the kind of malaise that comes over pure stackers of bullion and moderns is common. In my experience an easing into true numismatics is the key never being bored. A couple weeks ago Backyard Bullion posted a video '228 year old Gold Guinea-What a Piece of History". You can just hear the passion in his voice as he shares all he learned from just this one piece! @@user-pt3bv3jl3v That is for sure! At shows, if a guy is dealing in foreigns, the pieces in his cases are usually really expensive. Often he will have a box or two that you can flip through that is very affordable, under $100, or even well under $50. It's an easy way to enter in and if you make a mistake it's a small mistake. Enjoy!!
Hi, a while back you mentioned you were moving and because of that you were converting silver to gold. Did you then convert it back after the move? I found the whole thought process interesting. :)
Hey there! I did end up converting the Krugerrands back to silver when I came back, but I still have most of that gold - I figured I'd just focus on re-balancing now that I can stack up silver again =P Thank you for watching, maybe I'll do an update on this !

Same here.
You're much more disciplined than most of us, I think we could learn a lot from you
Same here

Variety is the spice of life. Some of the Rwanda coins are better out of the packaging due to possible PVC contamination.

Most of my stack is Maples and constitutional...so to avoid boredom I allow 10% of my stack to be poured silver I can play with! 😂 Great video

I think bars are going to be my focus for the rest of the year, I just hope I don't get bored of them =P Thank you for watching my dude!

I’m with you on the Merc’s oh and some barbers too.

I should really look into getting more morgans/peace dollars, they are all truly unique and they can keep it quite interesting. Thank you my friend!
Great videos. I need to focus on not staying bored. But I get excited with all silver and gold hehehhe

I went to my LCS n grabbed 2 rounds. I am filling a tube with random rounds just for fun. Great tips man. Thanks for the video

Mailman AG you have the best bars man. I love those bars. I think when I get more generics and hit 1000 oz of silver I’ll get more
very well done along with the #1 reason to collect aka stack silver.
kinda new at this and have been collecting a little of every category . got my first fine morgan and it is beautiful, didnt spend a lot on it. i think the isle of man coins are interesting. thanks for sharing.
Germania is sweet, they are coming out with an oak leaf coin that looks like it's going to be pretty awesome

The reales are still on my list, everyone calling himself a collector should have a bit of that pirate treasure.

Could probably throw a couple Ukranian Archangels in there.
Always enjoy your vids, future...
I didn't see any Queens Beast in your stack.
In 1776 we got rid of that.
