    Don’t break them up! Those sheets of dimes with stamps are usually sold through the Postal Commemorative Society. They’re usually placed in personalized binders with the named owner stenciled on the binder.They basically provide a history lesson. You just happened to pick up the FDR collection. I was gifted the entire statehood quarter collection by my mother. I’d love to have the Dimes as well. Now that was a find! There is one selling on eBay for about $35.

    I picked up the £1 and 1/2£ 1899 Victoria's from my LCS about a month ago and a BC Denarius. I pick up the different yearly PF Brittanias, their sweet. Same Eagle minus the crown is on the Germania. The small crown is her "mourning crown" she wore after her husband died.

    Nice pickups, silver for spot is always a great deal. Congrats on filling your tube. The 10 Kreuzer is a nice restrike, the original coin was minted 1868-1872 weighs 1.67 g and has 40% silver.

    That 2001 10 Kreuzer is a fantasy coin, produced by someone called Exonumia, according to Numista.com, but it is 31.05g of .925 silver.

    I would put those FDR pages on eBay for sure. I've been getting stupid prices for jfk stuff. I'm sure there is a market for any Roosevelt items as well. Ppl seem to go crazy over junk DRAWER lots

    I always go right for the constitutional. Great deals.

  • @bigfootsilverhideseeker2856

    Silver Future enjoyed your video and and feeling like I missed out lol! Its all good though as I had a chance to hit LCS today. I appreciate the diversity of your finds there. I definitely agree with you concerning separating a collection from a stack! I would hate like hell to have mixed them up and end up selling them off at spot ,plain jane silver. There is a big difference when it is an MS, BU or AU constitutional Walker, Morgan or Peace Dollar. OUCH! Even the thought of that hurts lol

    The double headed eagle stands for the double monarchy from the times of the Astro-Hungarian Empire.The pronounciation of Kreuzer is K-R-OY-TZ-È-R close to oyster.

      @jec1ny Před 5 lety

      That is correct. The figure on the front is Kaiser (Emperor) Franz Joseph I of Austria and later the Austro-Hungarian Empire.. Wikipedia has an nice article on him. The reverse has the imperial arms of the Hapsburg Monarchy.

      Don’t know what they’re called but I’m pretty sure it would appeal to FDR, stamp, or coin collectors. Very unique

    Brittanias tone beautifully when not in capsules. I let most everything I own tone on their own. I tone all my maples. They sit on my tables. I've toned the odd panda on my veranda. I tone all my walkers while I play soccer. And last but not least I tone dollars of peace.

    From what I saw, those 2017 Britannias have the trident privy, so they carry a bit of a premium. Also, why do you put bullion coins into capsules? Seems like a waste to me.
