    I also got 'At Spot' Deals at JM Bullion, SD Bullion, Bold Metals, Monument Metals.

  • @cgbcoinsmatt-cgbcleanmatt5492

    I just reviewed the 4 spot deals (JM, Monument, Provident, Silver Gold Bull). I forgot to mention the Provident was the only signature required. Not sure why they are the only ones.

    After the first delivery attempt - Go online to the USPS website, type in the tracking number and choose "Hold at Post Office".

    I HATE signature required mail, I sleep during the day. Provident used to be my go to bullion dealer, but is it me, or do they just not have the selection they once had? Monument Metals seems to be my go to dealer now. Thanks for the video. I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling the way you do. Maybe if they hear from more of us, things will change.

    I agree with you 1000%. My last order was a quarter ounce gold queens beast. I live in a rural area had to drive about 23 miles or more to pick my package up directly at the post office. Enough people should complain it shouldn’t be mandatory or random

  • @aaronthomas2252
    @aaronthomas2252 Před 5 lety +1

    Yeah no one likes signing... until you get a package stolen from your front porch after delivery. The package is going to show delivered and you will likely be out of luck. Even if I'm only shipping $200 worth of bullion, if the address appears to be an apartment or similar, I always send it with sig confirmation - adult signature. As much of a pain as needing to go to the post office is, having a package stolen from you and being out that money sucks much more.

    I agree with you Fortune. I live out of town and it is a big hassle to have to go sign. Have to find a time when the P.O. is open and I am not at work. It is nice for those that like that option, but agree it should be a selection choice at the time of purchase.

    Can we assume that you work at a coin shop, from the picture of you (I guess) squatting by the stack of monster boxes of ASE’s? If so, why don’t you get PM’s at a reduced price thru your boss? Well, anyways, I happen to like Provident. They have very fair prices for most of their products. And, for the most part, they don’t price gouge like Apmex.

      Victor Frankenstein i could be wrong but i dont think he does work in a coin shop (again i could be wrong), i think he was just taking a picture at his local shop next to the monster boxes

    • @SilverFuture
      @SilverFuture  Před 5 lety

      I should think about a coin shop side gig, as an opportunity to learn if not for any other reason. That picture though is just me in my LCS though :P

    I agree, I hate having to sign for a package. I have a locked mail box and most companies I don't have to sign for and it's convenient to have it in the mail box. Otherwise I have to drive far to the post office, wait in line. Very annoying.

    Provident is in my top 3...but they should email you and give you a heads up if you have to sign! Myself I've had at least 20 orders from them under 750 and never had to sign. Love the spot deal! Got it about 8 months ago!:)))👍

  • @skullstaxx
    @skullstaxx Před 5 lety +2

    I think they just started the signature requirement. If you sign the form I leave you I will redeliver the next business day. Plus...Provident gives Vets “as low as” pricing on everything on their website👍

      I just got the 10oz silver gold bull bar also, but I got it directly from SilverGoldBull.com and I got it at spot. About $154.00 it's really nice!

    My gripe with Provident is that a couple of my coins had dings and scratches almost like it was done intentionally. That and i still have not received a magnet in any of my orders.

    I'm just the opposite I would rather have to sign for it that way I know for sure it makes it to me most of the time when I ordered from Provident it is for Junk silver but you're right it can become a hassle to make it to the post office

  • @MrThe1234guy
    @MrThe1234guy Před 5 lety

    When you pay with a credit card you shouldn't have to wait 4 days to ship. That is lazy on providents end. I could have ordered with a check for MUCH less!

  • @hualani6785
    @hualani6785 Před 5 lety

    Ive had more losses by USPS in 2019 first quarter than most years combined, so Maybe thats why the signature required.Ive had to prove over and over again, which USPS tracking helps with. Just saying, if youve had good luck then youre in minority. Another service USPS offers are lockboxes for PObox holders. Every US resident who lives rural America without home delivery gets one free USPS smallest POBox- it wont take larger packages. If it wont fit, I ask the to put in a locker. I go open my mailbox, remove the locker key and get the large parcel from locker. Without signature required you can get your mail 24/7- so consider the small POBox fee. If signature required, its a hassle for me also, as my local PO closes at 3pm Mon-Fri open only 9-10 Saturday, so what working person can get there?? BIG hassle! Small POBx and lockers is perfect¯

    I ordered $50 face junk from Apmex, Provident and JM bullion.. apmex was right away and in my mailbox.. provident was right away but I had to sign.. which since I wasn't home had to go to post office next day. JM bullion took two weeks for some reason. But no signature. Also in my roll of halves from Provident there were two 40%ers. Not great. But not end of the world horrible. May give them another try.

    Randomness is soooo annoying. Agreed my friend. Provident sent me ASE coins with big fat fingerprints on them and have ignored my requests for a discount, only will swap them out. Not good enough.

    😂 haha I get so mad with signature required you had me cracking up I can tell you get annoyed like I have

  • @SilverSnacks
    @SilverSnacks Před 5 lety +3

    Signature required is wise for bullion purchases and post offices hold the package for 15 days not 3 so there is plenty of time to get it. They try to deliver it once and if you are not home they take it back to the main post office in your town until you pick it up. I myself prefer signature required when buying precious metals.

    • @DDPREPR_NC

    Thanks for the heads up. I am going for all of the new customer deals as I am truly new to this whole community lol wondering does provident metals charge a credit card fee? And do they give a discount for using a check/ wire?

    JM Bullion and Provident Metals are the worst companies to deal with and they are owned by the same which makes it even worse. I hate their deception and poor customer service. Buyers beware. There are better companies out there. I got royally screwed after dealing with them since 2011
