I daily drive a 94 suburban with tbi. I love simple fuel injection. Easier than a carb or multipoint fuel injection to deal with over all. It can be harder to diagnose at times because the electronics are so oblivious but the benefit is there is a lot less to go wrong compared to more modern systems. Vacuum leaks, map, tps, iac and o2 are about 90% of the issues it will ever have. All of those items mentioned are cheap and easy to deal with.

My first car given to me was a 1988 Firebird Formula 350. This was the Firebird with the same 5.7 L TPI motor that came as standard issue in the Corvette. Only issue was no manual transmission available. I will say the automatic TH700 R4 was a good match. This car with a few bolt ons from Tuned Port Specialties ran a 13:18 1/4 mile at Buds Creek at midnight madness and surprised everyone. Especially the 5.0 mustang guys. My favorite car I’ve ever owned! Nothing like the Fbody Generation.

They actually sold this in the states in the 80's. When I was a Honda mechanic, I remember my dealership recieving one around 1984.

My 92 Foxbody had one it was horribly installed now it does lock my wheel when I try to turn it while the car is off plus I can turn the key to unlock it but I hate the annoying flashing lights, plus mine won't even start anymore, my starter works great, replaced the relay, it works great too, but it still won't start when I try to turn it over. Even when my battery is fully charged.

the c4s from 91 to 96 are the better ones, the 1996 LT4 is the only one i personaly would buy.. Great value, alot of car for the money, fast and reliable. The prices on these c4s are going up, Terrible winter car.

I think you hit the nail other head with your statement about going slow is the whole point of a Rolls Royce. I you go slow so everyone gets a good look at who's inside. I had the chance to drive a 1978 silver spur. For about four weeks. Other than the fuel costs given it got about fourteen mpg on premium fuel. The "but" was the fact it was a RR. Like you described, I was the interior of the car was a rolling humidor. The smell of the leather, the polish on the wood. The the carpets. The only caviot was I couldn't wear my street shoes on the carpet. So I went shoeless. Constantly rubbing my feet back and forth on the lambs wool carpet. I and picking of women.... Yeah I had one or two in the back seat. Especially after I put the carpet on the seat. One girl really got off on the lambs wool on her bare ass, but but I've said too much already...

The 1992 - 1996 C4 Corvette is one of the best looking cars/ Vettes ever made. How the Hell anyone can think the C3’s better looking is beyond me. The LT1 is an awesome motor to boot and the vehicle handles/ brakes great! Awesome car thanks for reviewing it.

I would not trade my1978 with little rust highly optioned 342 saftey trac , super t 10 , L72 400ci rated at 220 hp realy closer 280 hp little work over 300 hp for a perfect 180 hp auto but hey we all can't be lucky and there still pretty cars

Body shops always fuck up electrical. Sounds like you had a bad experience with the body shop

Some of the best body guys are mexicans. Also, the bread and butter of any auto body shop is insurance work. Thats what pays the bills. This big shit takes time and ive never seen a body shop stay on schedule. Ever. I will agree with you on one thing, rolling your car outside like that they should have took better care of your car.
