Not car related but Playboy related. I remember moving to this new place when I was a teenager and there was an old shed with a bunch of junk in it. I found a big fat stack of old Playboys in there. For a teenager it was like a gold mine.
I turned 13 years old in June of 1973. My father died that year, too. That’s why I had to grow up quickly. Sad and happy memories.
I love the background you chose. When I was a kid our kitchen had orange countertops and the floor had a pattern in it.

The "Nazi car" was called "Kubelwagen", which means "Bucket Car", because it was constructed like a bucket, or a boat (not amphibious, but with a closed undercarriage), to prevent water and mud from getting into it.
