Sharing a meal | Homemade meal challenge
âĄïžHealthy Meals Made Easy PDF
go.drwholeness.com/healthy-meals-made-easy
Almost half of all Americans say that they have less than 30 minutes to prepare and enjoy a meal.
Are you one of them?
The value in taking time to sit down and eat a meal with your spouse, friends and with your children is overwhelming.
Sharing a meal is the most relational activity in the history of humanity.
The farther we stray from sitting down, giving thanks, and sharing about our day over a whole foods meal, the closer we get to physical, mental, and relational dysfunction.
What we are failing to realize is that we have been trained to believe we have no time for a planned, whole foods meal so we must of necessity, fill our cupboards, purses, office drawer and glove box with snack items to fit into our busy schedule.
What if we slowed down and actually fostered relationships over real food?
I dare you to prepare a homemade meal every single night for 30 days. Sit down and share the meal with someone. See if it doesnât become the best part of your day.

Can Supplemental Iron Cause High Hemoglobin?
Hemoglobin high ferritin low
Do you have a video where you explain what causes someone to be very low in ferritin but have normal levels of iron?
Our skin is the largest organ and so many people are advocating slathering that organ with nasty chemicals everyday. If you feel you can feed those chemicals to your liver, stomach, intestines then ya sure use sunscreen 24x7. Most of us who use sunscreen are not bothered about cancer, our concern is the shade of our skin. I am happy & grateful that he had the understanding and guts to make such a video. I wish more people educated us on social media platforms about these nasty companies and the lies they feed us in order to use their products. It's just nasty business.
My hemoglobin is 13.2, my iron 98, and my ferritine is 50 I have been struggling with my energy all day, especially in the morinigs. Sometimes tight chest, low blood pressure and light headed. Even naturopathic doctors said everything looks ok in the bunch of blood test but I can't work becasue of low energy ;-(
My hemoglobin was 11.8 but iron was 22, saturation was 6 and ferritinin was at 4 in Feb.. idk what my numbers are right now since i lost my insurance soon after that but recently I have been feeling dizzy, lightheadedness and rapid heartbeats... I need to lie down for at least half an hour to 1 to feel somewhat normal
From đžđȘ Thank you.
I have tinnitus in left ear, heart palpitations once in a while, but extremely tired and dizziness, my ferritin levels are 21 and taking 150mg of heme iron since a month, it helped in the beginning but not any more feeling like am going backwards.
I have take 1and half month iron tablets still dizzyfeel..đąreasons
Here is how the salt water kills the bacteria! The supersaturated saltwater extracts the liquids from the bacteria itself in order to balance the osmotic salt and water balance, and hence killing the bacteria when the bacteria is being confronted such an environment.

Hi Dr Matt Iâve never had ferritin above 25. Recently had a baby and it dropped to an 8. Really struggling now with dizziness, lightheaded breathless etc been supplementing with ferrous fumerate since May and Iâm not feeling any better. Do you have any advice for me please
Look at using a different method for iron supplementation. One with the supportive minerals + iron hidden in a rice protein like Blood Vitality (my go to). drwholeness.myshopify.com/products/blood-vitality-1
Copper is important for iron absorption and distribution in the body. Copper is often forgotten. I was put on iron supplement by a doctor but there was very poor results on my ferritin levels. Doc didnât even want to talk about my B12 deficiency. Started taking B-vitamins and copper. After a few months I did increase the amount of B12 separately 2000mcg in the morning and 1000mcg 2-3 hours before bed. All B-vitamins I use are in the methylated form and b12 was also a liposomal form for easy absorption. When I raised the levels of b12 I did after a few days or a week feel like I had a little more energy and my mood changed. Also we started using cast iron when cooking. I will continue my journey and I wanted to share in short my experience. I P.S I donât trust doctors anymore
Great to hear you are getting results! Www.optimizeiron.com
By calling it maple syrup, you become part of the problem. This is a common issue with consumers. Margarine is called butter all of the time. People don't think about it and dont want to think about it. Pancake syrup is often labeled "maple syrup" by hotel staff. It is annoying. The ambiguity is tolerated, therefore, encouraged by the pancake syrup industry. Technically, it isn't legal to call pancake syrup "maple syrup" but consumers do that. But regulators have actual food safety issues to deal with. So if we call our state's department of agriculture and complain, im pretty sure there would be an eye roll on the other side of the phone line. And deservedly so. I'm glad you made the video. Im glad you are working on your channel. Keep going!

Hi Dr. Matt, in other video about hairloss, you said that if your hairloss is related to low ferritin it will improve with the intake of the iron...but there is a way to know this before taking the iron? Or can I have low ferritin and even improving my ferritin with iron might not give me regrowth?
Ferritin usually needs to be sustained over 70 to see hair loss stop and regrowth begin. That said I have had patients who needs levels to be up around 120 to see hair growth return.
@@DrWholeness Yes, that part I understood, but what I want to know is if even increasing ferritin to120 the hairgrowth might not happen?

My hair has been falling out for 20 years. The texture is now like wire. My hemoglobin and hematocrit is low. While watching this video I went into my portal and my Ferritin is 34, yet it says NORMAL. I've been trying to figure this out for two decades. I knew that this was related. Thank you Doc!
I take iron tablets for low iron levels.
Are you getting relief?
this is not about menopause

I thought zinc and iron compete for absorption though. Or zinc and copper did. I heard zinc shouldnât be taken with either

4-6 weeks after starting therapy to make sure you are going in the right direction is my general rule.
Do iron deficiency and b12 deficiency are related somehow..?
yes. need them both for red blood cell creation and a host of energy pathways.

hey doctor recently i have experienced itchy in random parts of my body and when scratching it, it does form red lines. i got cbc last jan 2024 and my hemo is high and this month of june i got cbc and its still high. im experiencing dizziness and fatigue right now, migraine or vertigo similar dizziness. i usually drink 10 liters of cold water everyday, but why is it that my hemoglobin is high?
My serum ferritin is 9 How long should I take supplements to get that to normal level I feel very tired these days Cant do much at gym, having tons of hairfall

I am taking gentle iron, does it have feelings inside or should it be absorbed from foods etc?
Macadamia oil is best. Palmitoleic acid and healthy monounsaturated fat, it is also heat tolerant. Palm not great to me in terms of fat profile

Maybe the soybean oil in most foods is blocking the absorption of the heme iron
