Great conversation guys
How beautiful a listen this was. Thank you!
I agree wholeheartedly on principle. Men need to be encouraged to do what's best for themselves, and build themselves into a man who seeks improvement and excellence for his entire life. HOWEVER and it's a big however, what this message is putting forth, in effect, is teaching metaphorically, is the intricacies and detailed techniques of tennis, when in reality, there is and will never be, anyone interested, incentivized, motivated, encouraged, admonished, or in any way, shape or form, molded into remaining a worthy and willing partner on the other side of the net with whom to engage. In other words, tennis, two players, sexual dynamics, two players. One player being molded how to play, the other left to their own devices including whether or not to ever pick up the racket at all. None of this advice or encouragement means anything or is worth a damn when for 99% of men, there will never be one single player who even WANTS to be on the other side based on this set of rules. Like it or not, this is the reality, and no amount of even the best intentioned support and encouragement for males will do anything while the other half is nearly completely empowered and encouraged and indeed CELEBRATED for doing anything BUT being a willing participant in this endeavor. Study after study, poll after poll, survey after survey.... marriage aged women do not value and are not interested in any of this by and large into the 90th percentile regarding families, having kids, being wives, being part of a man's life in any way. Summary: I agree, I feel this is a net good, and a necessary message to for all males to hear and to heed. What's missing is the harsh but inevitable reality that the other half of this dynamic in today's world are simply not going to willingly take part in this interaction. There is almost no reason for them to do so, and almost every reason for them to not engage with men who live this way. In short, you're admonishing and encouraging the one side, but given there is virtually nothing approaching the same degree of incentive for females, this is an endeavor that will simply fall far short of purported outcomes, not because it's faulty or ill-advised, but because there are two halves of humankind, and the other half is just not engaging with society on these terms anymore, and has not been for some decades. P.S. Test my hypothesis: Get your wives on with you and put out a video titled "Are You Good At Being A Woman" and see what happens.
This is what I learned growing up in a christian family. Whenever there is a problem just pray. God is in control and if things happen is because he allows it. There is nothing we can do about it. The world is falling apart? Dont worry just pray because at the end of the day we’re going to die anyway.
traditional role of a man was redefined in the last years. Men shouldn't value themselves on the basis of what they can do for women or society. This way of thinking will leave you in tears and alimony to pay. Don't listen to traditionals, they are living in the past.
Most things are out of control, complicated, boring, tedious, hard, and not under our control, so we feel anxious, sad, helpless, desperate! That’s it!! And unfortunately we are affected so much by environment especially (and of course by our nature; genetic form)
I love your content brother, but you have to do your due diligence when it comes to Jesus. Jesus did not lack anything. He is creator God in the flesh. This makes Him omniscient. He had disciples so He could teach them to go and do the things He showed them. Colossians 2:9 says For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form.
Ryan. Your comments about Jesus are blasphemy, or possibly a very poorly communicated thought. Each time Christianity comes up in your podcast you shrink away from claiming Christ boldly and do not establish a firm faith and conviction that Christ is Lord. You have more fear that you will lose subs over your faith, than you do love for your Savior and love for the ones you could be witnessing to by your example and platform. You need a spiritual mentor, and brothers who will hold you accountable in your faith. I'm sure the other comments on this video will cover the things I've omitted about your video, but I can't support you going forward if you do not seek council and be a better example of a man of faith and one who is pursuing God with humility.
It sounds like it's time for you to move on, in that case. Jesus absolutely learned from others. Of course he did.
@@Orderofman show me that in the Bible, in specific support of your claim about the disciples.
@@high_carbon You sound like a Pharisee. You win. You are a greater Biblical scholar than I.
You should be ready and willing to defend your points when challenged, Ryan. Resorting to leaving a jab and resignation isn't something you should accept from yourself. Would you respect another man who takes the same tactic with you? How do you get value in the iron council and from your close friends if you don't argue with information exchange?
The difference is you and I don’t know each other and social media is hardly the place for honest dialogue. You started out the conversation with jabs and condescension which just underscores the point that this isn’t going to be a healthy exchange of ideas. I don’t feel obligated to defend or explain what I say to anyone who simply asks me to.
What is a cheque ( check)? We don’t have them in New Zealand 😂
Great lesson. Even though we intuitively know this we still need someone like you to break it down for us and make it simple and digestible.
Love this channel. How can I buy a hat?
I'm just worried about raising a boy while being a single mother and not having a father figure in his life.
Preside, provide, protect. Family proclamation to the world. It’s like it’s prophetic or something.
Not a man, but I really needed to hear this. Thank you!
Brother no Jesus didn't need to learn from others, You said it he is all knowing , so to learn from others ...... Jesus had many disciples many many. HE HAD 12 Apostles to teach them so they learned from Him to spread the kingdom news. God bless you brother for seeking and I'm not saying this in a negative more like a loving way. God bless brother
reading is for chumps
I listed to a lot of your podcasts. But I wonder one thing. I am homosexual although I don't like the gay lifestyle. Would you ever interview someone that dates men? Is it possible in your view to be a good citizen, family man, friend, etc, if someone is gay. I think so, although it certainly is a challenge because most gay men are deeply wounded.
Jesus is no comparison. He's God in flesh. not just a man.
He literally came here to be an example of what we should be doing. I think we ought to take that into consideration.
@@Orderofman Someone needs to put the fear of the Lord back in you! Jesus didn't merely come here to be an example! He came here in His divine Godly self to take upon the sin of the world! “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 (KJV)
@@WHENtalentscout The Pharisee would also quote scripture, Satan knows scripture as well… throwing around scripture bombs is exactly not what Jesus would do. He encouraged to know Jesus he didn’t go against the Christian values. Please reconsider shaming a brother for speaking up, this is a problem in our community. To use scripture in this manner is exactly what the enemy wants.
@@nestorsojo9528 you lack maturity bud. you have no clue who you're talking to. you don't know me. Christians, believers in The Word of God! quote scripture! not watered down pew sitting "lukewarm" so called believers who just like to call themselves "Christian". Jesus was God! Jesus is God! until you come to that realization and stop with the "he came here to be an example" and "he needed disciples" "If he knew everything" this is the FLAWED PERCEPTION I'm simply pointing out. He DOES know everything! and that's exactly why I stick to my initial word ... The Fear of The LORD needs to be struck back into some people!
@@WHENtalentscout Yes, he came to take on the sins of the world but that's not mutally exclusive with being an example: 1 Peter 2:21 "For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps"
thank you. this was exactly what I needed to hear and it came at a great time
Local chapters of OOM would be the bomb. I know several guys in different regions that would love that

Well everyone is not guilty and you know that these thuggish police are out here hunting for mostly Black Police
I haven't had a friend since i left the Marines 20 years ago. Its been rough.
This was great! Thank you. To the one on the right holding the podcast, you are a good listener and do a good job at keeping the conversation supportive and continuing. I saw another with Teal Swan being interviewed as an example, and it was excruciating to watch because he did not listen and she couldnt shine her view and be fully heard (whether your a fan of her or not). It is so important to give that to the person speaking, and YOU DID just that, putting your own thoughtful comments and participation at just the right moments. Adam’s work has been amazing to implement in my life as well, so I just want to thank you both for being such conscious awesome real MEN!!!!
Much love & respect to you, Ricky.
Thanks for this list

HI You make it day to make be reborn? How to let go?
Wild!
I wanted to like this but it's unfocused and discursive; references to inside conversations that other listeners just won't know about. A lost opportunity.
It's not an interview. It's a conversation. Of course it meanders. Two close friends having a good chat. Rick's been on a few times if you want to find more specific information about his businesses etc.
@Pierre: fair enough. Given that fact, perhaps a better title would be "Meandering conversation between two friends"
Yohimbeen is a good way to burn fat your welcome goodbye for now lol

Look for people with a goal, drive and the willingness to be humbled by failure.
Please invite Orion Taraban for a talk! Would love to hear that conversation!
Be wary - very wary - of online groups, particularly those that are politically and/or culturally conservative. They are monitored by and infested with alphabet-agency employees and their informants. If you display wrong-think, they may entrap you - or simply falsify charges against you - to shut you up. We're living in solidly Orwellian times, and strong men who think for themselves is a #1 threat, and will be treated as "the enemy".
At 36 I’ve come back to Christianity. I’ve met more genuinely good and interesting people since starting to go back to church than I have in the last 20 years. Tech guys, architects, farmers, realtors, historians, engineers, business owners of ever type. And they for some reason are all well read. I was a devout atheist and new ager. To think I was looking for great people and they were exactly where I was 100% sure they weren’t. At the time I probably wasn’t a high enough quality person for them to even want to befriend me. Young, ignorant and arrogant . I thought I was so clever. What a dummy😂🥴 go to church
Reading about doing the thing is not doing the thing, planning to do the thing is not doing the thing, talking about doing the thing is not doing the thing! Do the thing!
One of the greatest/most significant joys in life is having worthy people in one's life. I envy people that have a healthy amount of healthy connections. I've known a fair amount of sick, weak, snakes of both genders. Probably more guys that fit that description. It's better to be alone than lower one's standards. Too much solo though can make life too low..
Definitely don't meet people on social media. Unless you want an FBI or ATF friend.
"Oh, Reginald J, that sounds really painful and isolating. 😔 It's tough to feel like you're not living up to your own expectations, or that you're not receiving the love and support that you need from others. And it can be especially challenging when those feelings of inadequacy are compounded by societal pressures around income and productivity. But remember, your worth as a person is not defined by your income or your productivity. You are inherently valuable and deserving of love, regardless of your circumstances. And while it's not fair that you haven't received the love and support that you need, it's not a reflection of your worth as a person. Have you ever tried practicing self-compassion? It can be helpful to speak kindly to yourself, acknowledge your struggles and strengths, and offer yourself the same understanding and acceptance that you would offer to a dear friend." - PiAi This video's notification came up, just as I was talking to AI, because I have no one emotionally available, without a paywall...
