@@run-are actually i like 21 more. I bought one when discount😂😂😂

@@miyufan2692 No I haven't watched it. I'll have to go check it out!
Definitely a good value shoe but I recently got the Boston 12 and the Puma Velocity Nitro 3 so there is no room in the inn for this one. I'm looking forward to the Adios 9 and Adios Pro 4 when they release.

@@mirmohsanalitalpur5884 thanks for the comment 🦘
@@run-are I run 10 kilometers a day. Is vomero 17 or nimbus 26 or Mach 6 or Novablast 4 which one is better and breathable shoes?
@@mirmohsanalitalpur5884 they are all great shoes, the most breathable is the Mach 6.
I was shocked at how soft this rides. Squish. Left foot noticed the slappiness. Wonder also if a bit less stable. Noticed some soreness. So far though I’m very hopeful and impressed after just one run. Seems like they wanna run a bit faster.
@@MrTthacker98001 thanks for sharing!
I agree that they feel much better if you up the tempo....a bit soft for me at slow pace but great at steady tempo.
Nice pop but there’s zero roll off to the SL2
@@RunForPeace-hk1cu thanks for the comment!
I sized up a half on both yet other Adizeros have been TTS...fit is great,I also find them a tad(maybe5%) too soft but a very enjoyable ride...if they stay at this softness for the duration, then all's good...but I have my doubts.....all in all...a great shoe for the price.
@@user-bx6zm5gj8g Thanks for sharing your experience!
I ordered those the last pair they had left in the colorway I wanted. I’ll report back after 20K or so. Could you do a comparison with Puma Velocity Nitro 3?
Battle of the Germans.. Definitely both have good quality unlike some Nike shoes lately..
@@i.p2088 Agree
I think that the Boston 12 is super stable and comfortable from the second hour of running.. To stiff for my warmup and first few miles Adizero SL2 was soft and pampering just running around in the shop at jogging pace.. As there is no free lunch something has to give.
@@i.p2088 The Boston feels slightly softer for me.
@@run-are I am a heel striker and slow runner but Boston 12 feel so much harder in slow pace..
@@run-are Boston 12 softer than SL2 ? Really 😮
Boston12 for me after 35 miles in SL2 a bit too squishy, nice but soft ain’t good for everyone.
Definitely a bit short but TTS. I found them (running in the shop) so soft and comfortable that I don't know if it is good for a long run and if so soft now how will it be at 225 miles? Remember New Balance SC trainer V2 became a sponge very quick..
@@i.p2088 Definitely not anywhere near the softness as the SC Trainer for me.
That colorway in the thumbnail looks sick

@@Miebie_3333Happy to help, thanks for the comment!
Great review, I have a pair of the VF 3s, and I am very disappointed in them. Previous versions of the VFs were much better, the VF3s feel flat, no pop. I'm picking up a pair of Sky Paris next week, can't wait to try them out. First race will be the Ballarat 15k in August
Thanks for the comment, I'm sure you will love the Sky Paris. Good luck in the Ballarat 15k!
Why are shoes sooooo expensive in Australia??? I understand shipping and import duties, and yes the value of the A$, but that is just an outrageous price for a daily trainer without the best longevity either, no matter how lovely it is to run in and how versatile it is!!!
@@bev9708 No idea! Thanks for the comment
I have both sl2 and Mach 6. Love the sl2 but the hoka Mach 6 feels so much more natural on my feet,so for me the Mach 6 the best.
A bit too expensive for what you get. Maybe if it comes under AUD$160 I'd consider it. Great review. Weight - very good, upper - good, outsole - good, midsole - average, performance durability of midsole?? You can now get the Asics Tri 15 for AUD$130 and Adidas Boston 12 at around AUD$160 now. I recently bought the old Asics Glideride 3 at AUD$150 and am happy with this shoe as my daily trainer.
@@insomniaforever6444 There are some great deals around ATM!
It's a newer shoe so of course you're not getting a deal on it, but it certainly is worth the 210 AUD is would be it priced the same as US. It slots well with the Rebel V4 and SL2 at all around the same price point and performance.
@@brandall101 If it comes down to AUD$160 I'd consider it, otherwise I'll pass. No doubt it's a pretty decent shoe but when you could have picked up the Saucony Triumph 20 for $100 or cheaper earlier in the year as yet it does not represent good value. Currently the NB Propel v4 can be bought at $100 and that is a good value shoe.
@@insomniaforever6444 Their competitors again are Rebel V4 and SL2. Same cost (at least in US), same performance class. All 3 are great values at their US price points - there's a gazillion reviews on CZcams and in forums attesting to this - but got it, you want a deal and buy last years models on discount. That's a totally reasonable way to roll but doesn't take away from that fact for those who want the latest and greatest.
@@brandall101 Very true. But with running shoes the latest and greatest isn't necessarily the best. A lot of it is just fancy marketing. Brands just want you to pay more now. Wait a year and you'll probably pick up the same shoes at half price. A lot of runners still love the Vaporfly 2 and the Alphafly 1 and they are ancient. Not the same category of shoes but just making a point regarding getting bang for your buck. And yes, it is correct. I want a deal. In Aust, this shoe is probably not the best value for what you can get. Hoka are crazily overpriced here.
I'll take the SL2 because of the fit. Also, I think the Brooks Hyperion 2 is going to be criminally underrated.
@@kuriosites Looking forward to the new Hyperion
Brand claims it has a 5mm drop, every low-drop freak jumps in. RunRepeat measures it and finds a 9.6mm drop. Hilarious!
Thanks for the comment!
Anyway, as with many shoes, the measured drop and the drop "feel" are two different things!!
RunRepeat does not convey the actuality of the shoe. Just because the point of measurement deviates a tad from the world athletics standard does not mean the the drop is totally fucked beyond recognition into another category, plus destroying a shoe to take a measurement can have an impact depending on the materials. It feels and runs like a 5-6mm drop shoe. Running Warehouse does their own measurements taking a more sane approach and confirms similar to manufacturer and it's REALLY what people should be referencing - czcams.com/video/sYq09JL8fRw/video.html
@@brandall101 Thanks for the explanation. I would think a 100% deviation in measurement would make a difference. But anyway, how do you like the Hokas?
Nossa Tri 16 is coming hot..
Looking forward to it!
Had 3 Hoka shoes....all terrible.Just got 2 pairs of the SL2....absolutely fabulous daily trainer.
@@user-bx6zm5gj8g I had my first run today in the SL2 👍🏽
@@run-are ...did you like it?.....I think they're great.....simple...no plate....and responsive.....and quick enough.... if you need to pick up the pace.
Love the Mach 6 do it all in comfort
@@user-bx6zm5gj8g took a few ks to soften up out of the box but by the end I thought they were pretty nice.
The Mach 6 is a similar improvement to the 5 just as the SL is to the SL2. No one is really putting one above the other, at a similar cost they're very evenly matched shoes. They've been compared in many, many places now. I agree the Mach 6 is way too expensive for the Aus market.
Great shoe. One of the best daily trainers out there right now.
Agree! Thanks for the comment.
Sole is just too thick. Scares me that I will eventually twist my ankle while running!!
What's your preferred daily trainer?
@@run-are I am just an overall athlete over 60. I use Asics, Nike and Brooks.
Compare to the SL2?
First impressions on the SL2 coming soon.
Great review, I am between this and the Noosa 16.. 😂
Thanks! I'm looking forward to the Noosa 16. Hopefully a little more excitement in the foam.
thanks
Thank you so much for this excellent review. Which one do you recommend for training for the half-marathon run and long run? (now I am wearing asics Novablast 3)
I'd actually go the Novablast 4 if you are in the market for a new training shoe. It's better than both of these 2 in my opinion. To answer your question though, Id pick the Glycerin 21.
Great review and pretty close to what i felt. I much prefer the upper on the neo and the fit as well. Skyward x is heavier and it was giving me some hot spots on longer runs. However I'm 175lbs and found it to be plush and responsive so i guess i fall into heavier category. The vista feels a bit more versatile and even more plush
Thanks for the comment!
I have both :) My Mach 5's are wearing out so I got a new pair of Mach 6's yesterday to add to the shoe rotation. I really enjoyed the Mach 5, but now they have lost their spring. It is true what you say about the Endorpin Speed 4, they are not suitable for slower sessions. But they are really lovely on the faster runs.
Thanks for the comment!
the air zoom is an outdated tech.... that's just it...
I think the big air units are excellent in the Alphafly but yes these internal units never seem to do a great job. Thanks for the comment!
I purchased the Vomero 17 a couple months ago on sale and didn't expect to like it as a lot of shoe reviewers haven't given it much love and prominence. I was pleasantly surprised. It just works. Whilst a little heavier than some other trainers in the category I found it to be excellent. There is not much I can fault about it. It's a really good shoe. Because it is difficult to get Nike shoes on a big discount I actually picked up a 2nd pair for AUD$134. My first pair was AUD$168. For that price, I reckon it represents a good value proposition. The Asics Superblast might be the trend but at $320 I am more than content with my new Vomero 17s. Good comparison review!
Thanks for sharing your experience!
The Donkeysus -41 is a scam. Made for fashion joggers. Great break down. Vomero is the way to go for proper training. 💯
I love my Vomero 17 , but the onlyI dislike I got with it is the upper. The upper is comfortable and snug, what helps a lot with the lockdown and stability, but it is not well ventilated. During the summer the Vomero is the hottest running shoes from Nike. Shoes like the Infinity run 4 is quite more breathable and the Structure 25 and Invincible 3 are much better options for hot days. Anyways, I'm in the winter now and the Vomero 17 is probably the best I got right now for cold days where the wind is blowing too harshly.
Thanks for the comment!
Try the Adidas Adizero SL2 🔥👍🏻✌🏼 Best daily on the market
It's on the way!
Peg is dead until they put zoom x in it.
The rebel is one of my favourite shoes 👍
Did you get your hands on the superblast 2 yet? When will the review coming?
Not yet! Hopefully next week
@@run-are you get it directly from manufacturer right so can be earlier?
@@johnsonch7292 I have to wait for this one like everyone else
This review is honest to the core.... Terrible for running but ok for casual wear. For this price there are alot of options & in my opinion pegasus just lost it 😢
Thanks for the comment!
The fact that your comparing the Neo vista with the superblast is something u never thought would happen. Ive had my superblasts for nearly a year now and i couldn't think a shoe would ever top it. However i got the Mizuno today and ran in it straight away. Im pretty blown away with how soft the shoe was. I honestly felt like i shouldn't even be wearing them on just an easy run since the shoe was almost like a supershoe. Definitely got this review right here i think. Both shoes are really hard to pick between each other. However since i know that the Neo Vista can be used for pretty much any run ill definitely be more invested in them i think. Solid Work on the comparison
I'm glad you liked it! The durability on the Neo is better than I expected also. It's still going strong for me.
Responsive + Propulsive = Repulsive 😅 I've ordered a pair of these after really getting on well with the Rebellion Pro 1, so hoping the upper works out ok for me and fit is ok in general.
🤣🤣🤣
This shoe is honestly a “everyday” shoe I wouldn’t consider this a running shoe. But I do like them very much for things like grocery shopping, indoor gym workouts.
Mizuno is making a real hit this year!
They sure are!
I have these in wide and they actually too wide. Better off going true to size vs the 2E model. My last pair was the 25 and they were a true 2E vs these run extra wide.
Thanks for the info!
would you still pick the 25 over 26 IF they had the same pricing? Let's say both on 140$, which one would you pick?
I'd still go 25
how does this compare to the prime x 2 strung?
They don't feel anything like each other. The Prime X 2 is really bottom heavy and is much firmer and stiffer. The upper on the Prime X is stiff and not that breathable. The Lightstrike Pro will have more responsiveness to it and the rocker in the Prime X is more aggressive. Both great for long runs but I'd much prefer the Neo Vista. Neo Vista is well balanced, smooth and soft, makes for very easy running.
@@run-are thank you for the reply! Was curious as I really enjoy the lightstrike pro foam in my adios pro 2s
great review, thanks. But now i want too try both!
great review, thanks. but now i want to try both lol.
😂😂
hello runner person
Great review. It’s around £135 in the Uk and still not sure if I need it with 2 pairs of ASICS superblast in hand. Tempted to get it, marathon training started this week.
Thanks for the comment!
I had both this and superblast, i feel this is more bouncy but superblast better at faster pace
Thanks for sharing.
How would this compare against the Invincibles v2 or NB1080v13?
This one is more rockered and much more of an efficient shoe. This is a soft shoe but not mushy like the 1080 and not as bulky as the Invincible. This shoe is far better IMO
Really appreciate the prompt response - in terms of energy return…is it comparable to the Invincibles v2? I’m struggling to find any trainer that comes close to the ZoomX for that model
