This shoe is doing wonders for me. It has the toebox space that the Superblast doesn’t, has a similar bounce and characteristics, is lighter than many shoes and is extremely well made (also, the Superblast is scarcer than a Rolex). That said, I fault that it costs 20 Usd more than the Superblast. Note that the white pebax foam is very well engineered and designed, it starts in the back but is hidden/cradled by the cloudtec. The softer foam volume proportions work well for me to deliver the bounce and return without any sort of plate. That said, it works as a recovery/easy day shoe of course, but where it shines and what it was designed for is long runs.

I bought the On Cloudsurfer 7 last year based on a multitude of positive reviews and could not work out what the fuss was about. It was a huge disappointment and did not work for me at all. Thank goodness I got them on a discount. Still, I will not be buying any On shoes in the future given their premium pricing unless their new laceless super shoe is a universally accepted winner and sells at a reasonable price. Then I'd consider them. Thanks for your review.

The midsole felt good when I tested it. Definitely less bouncy than Speed 4 or even Cloudsurfer. Too pricy and The sizing was just off, either too large or too snug going up and down 1/2 size. Cloudmonster 1 think was a better shoe.

Spent $200 on a pair of Clouds. They both split after 4 weeks and I started getting a sore spot on the top of my foot. They wouldn't refund as I lost my receipt. Buyer beware.
