When I was a kid in the early 2000s we would sometimes hear this deep pulsating rumbling at night here in the countryside of western Germany. I looked outside every time I heard it, but never saw any strobes. I was always a plane nut, even back then. And we'd get traffic from/to Frankfurt, Ramstein and Spangdahlem, so I knew my engine sounds. This was nothing like anything I've ever heard before, or ever since. Entirely unrelated, but another thing that happened around that time was every few weeks some clocks would suddenly display wrong times or blink 00:00, exactly like after being disconnected from power. Other appliances prone to load variations / spikes would be turned on in the morning as well. One day I was awake at night and just looked up at the stars from my roof window. Suddenly there was a flash, although there was no thunderstorm. I then heard my parents wireless phone downstairs beep (like when you put it back in the base unit and it started loading battery) When I looked back at the clock it now blinked 00:00. A few weeks after that my grandpa told me he had been awake at night and seen a flash, exactly at a day where the clocks had been reset in the morning as well. I still would love to know what kind of tests those were. I'd speculate about EMPs or something, but since I know what high-altitude EMPs can do to power grids I'm reluctant about that...

They instead loaded a Jetliner (radiation shielding on the engines of course) with around 150 people as well as the equipment necessary to detect nukes as well as survive for many generations. They would simply fly to parts of the world that wernt actively being nuked and managed to keep going until X time. Then disaster strikes! They get shot down and there are only a few survivors! The most important survivor being the co-pilot(possibly next in line to be "leader"), who is the player and now they must survive on land. Their main options being: Take over a vault, Live on the surface, Find fix and outfit a new Jetliner (or smaller plane) to survive on.

What people don't get is it's possible to be both an amazing plane (and it is) but also completely inadequate. You see it pretty often. You have an amazing plane on paper, but the nature of war changed or the role it was designed for obsolete (or flawed to begin with). I'm sure I'll win myself no fans by saying this but i think the Gripen falls in this category. Awesome plane, love it. Couldn't hold a candle to its peers.

Just missed the PT-00D biplane from fallout 76, witch is visually similar to the Boeing Stearman Model 75. It can be found sporting various color schemes in multiple locations across Appalachia.

As I recall the AH-56 promised everything and delivered nothing. With a empty weight 12,215 lbs compared a AH-1 `s 9,500 lbs max take off weight. With a comparable weapons load out, forgetting the promised 30 cannon for the AH-56. It took Bell 18 months to go from first flight to acceptance of the AH-1. Lockheed spent 14 months for a first flight then the same period to make 10 prototypes by 1969. Lockheed wanted a premier helicopter, with all the overruns that go with such a project!

Fallout's carrier based Lockheed P-80 isnt too much of a stretch. The Navy did consider the P-80 and Lockheed developed the carrier capable TV-2 & T2V-1 trainer versions of the P-80, which were used by the Navy for a short time. In an _alternate_ _universe_ setting, its not hard to imagine Lockheed winning a major Navy contract and the P-80 being the primary carrier fighter.

Couple of corrections: 4:54 - that Vertibird is not an official design. It's a cargo Vertibird drawn by a Gray-Skull. 7:40 - Just because those Stingrays are next to the Sea of Tranquility section doesn't mean they actually belong to that section. Elsewhere in the same mural we have biplanes next to the four-turreted USS Missouri and a Minuteman in front of the WW1 era tank.

In fact the tech used on the tr3-b will soon be going towards commercial use. You are way behind, and have a lot of catching up to do and you should hurry up with that before it does come out, because then you will actually look very stupid. And it is coming. What do you think they are using in the space force? It's definitely not f-35's or f-22's. There is tons of proof. Do the research, seriously it's available.
