I have been deactivated twice fir the same reason, my yearly background report on Chkr... both times I was reactivated exactly 30 days after deactivation..you will mysteriously and miraculously notified by staff they are going to review the background check personally and will be in touch withn 5 days... it's basically been a 30-day suspension ...what's worse is the reset your status stats back to zero... you qualify for nothing doing no deliveries for 30 days

A couple things note worthy.... Ubereats 'tacks on' around $2.00 to every order plus their other fees. So basically if you walk into the restaurant and order item number 1and the cost is $16.95, your Uber price is $18.95 (plus fees). Also? The communication between the customer and the driver is lame at best. From what I'm told my other drivers... Notes that show the delivery instructions or even maps are not forwarded to the driver. I'm in an apartment complex, and 90% of the time the driver will spend an extra 5 minutes looking for my apartment even though clear instructions are included in every order. (which they tell me they can't see)

I accepted every order my first day and after 12 hrs, I made about $170. It helped my acceptance rate but definitely would never do so again. When I looked back on my trips, at least half of those were hour trip for less than $10. Nothing less than $1/mi now. When I started cherry picking, I started averaging $25/hr

As soon as you turn doordash from a sidegig into a job. Majority of people are asking for their car to get destroyed. I can make 1200 a month with $25/h and $1 per mile but I have to wait a hell of a long time.

Door dash is a scam they make you wait weeks to get your money but they Doordarshan is make money now you ride around burning up you gas Doordash gets paid now you wait

Aloha, I am a 62 years old guy from Hawaii. I drive for uber for the last one year. Recently my insurance expired and I changed my new insurance company to All State. When uber asked me to submit my new insurance card, I asked my insurance agent and he sent me a temporary card through me email. I submitted that twice since uber app not accepting it. Then I called uber support and told them the problem. The guy at uber support told me to resubmit again and I did. This time uber bocked me saying that I had submitted fraudulent document. I appealed but they permanently deactivated me. The document is genuine but it was computer generated. The agent said that he will mail me the original card. Please advice me. There is no green hub office in Hawaii.

How do I stop my Dasher app from being hacked? I'm not sure how they are doing it. I factory reset my devices, changed my email, phone number, password multiple times. It seems like they're hacking the device while I'm driving. I don't know anyone who'd want to hack me. I am gold, was diamond and right after I submitted the image of my catering bag on the next order while delivering it my rating dropped to 4.65 so .05 too low so I was no longer eligible for catering orders. I had not done any orders for 2 or 3 days. Any advice?

If you arrived at the restaurant and clicked arrive, your free to roam as you may please until the order comes out and also keep uber/DD updated of whats going on with the order,why its taking extra time. You will only get a notification of going the wrong direction and order can be taken away if you dont arrive at the restaurant by a certain time.

You can wait all week and not see an order like that lol....

I got deactivated over a speeding ticket. So im trying so hard to get activated again. None of the other platforms are hiring. This really sucks. I want to work and need to work.

I strongly believe that DoorDash made a mistake and deactivated me for no reason! This is the second time they made a mistake. The first time was them claiming I was at risk for deactivation because my completion rate was low when it was actually 99%. So I contacted them and they said they made a mistake that I am not at risk. Then I get deactivated probably around a month later for “abusing the referral system” which I only referred 2 people for $20 bonus each. One person a year ago and one person a couple months ago who still dashes. They cut me off and no one has gotten back to me about my appeal or anything. What I later did was I went through the comment section and I saw Vinzetech who help me with the reactivation

How do you do a Lyft ride while your supposed to be waiting for an order at the restaurant? Wouldn't uber know you weren't there waiting? I tried something similar with DD & they sent me a text sayin it looks like I'm not at the restaurant and my order would be terminated.

Did it show up as 21 miles for 54.00? Because I’m scared of them long trips with hidden tips

What about using your cash app to get your money or do you have to use either PayPal or Venmo for door dash driver's??? And I'm not tech savvy either and I'm seriously thinking about becoming a door dash driver and is it really worth dashing meaning is it really easy money since I'm on SSI and the monthly income u get is peanuts which kinda force's people like me on it to have to work when they really can't work a normal 9-5 job on a daily basis due to limitations ( mine is due to head on auto collision In 2011 not my fault by any means which resulted in total lower lumbar/tailbone fusion and more surgeries needed, amongst diabetes type 2 and other health issues) so is door dasher drivers worth the money since probably would lose my SSI if I did do it any and all Input or advice greatly appreciated, thank you!!!!

So I do DD , Uber Eats, Grub Hub and Deliver that!!! So I am able to turn Deliver that and grub hub and uber eats on and off, but yet I can show screen shots of what I made of all them ????? So I work 12hr days but take atleats 2 days off if not 2.5 days off... I make over 1k a week atleast running 4 apps!! How will I compete against u? I can prove from all my apps what I make but how will I prove that to you!!!! I mean are there any glitches that would downsize me an anyway?????

Cherry picking is the only way to do things regardless of what app you are using. Uber eats is kind of tough. You don’t see very many big offers come your way, and when you do, they assign it to who they think is the best match, which is kind of dumb, it should be the quickest one to click on it.
