I had a few no tip orders that ended up having a 10 dollar tip, though. Also, I had no tip orders that paired with bigger orders that lead to 30$/hour. If the 1 mile delivery takes 5 minutes at $2.50 per delivery, that's $30/hour. With a chance for doubles. The app showing no tip on an order isn't always the whole story. It may have a hidden tip or lead into a double or only take 5 minutes to complete. Also, DD seems to provide you with a good delivery to follow it up if it wasn't quite so worthy. Usually, the low orders with low miles have a higher chance to get a double order. I learned this from a youtuber that makes like 1600 a week with that strategy. It's surprising how it works out sometimes. Cherrypicking for 20 minutes versus working for 20 minutes delivering an order, delivering an order always grants you more. Down times I might risk those orders more while busy times I look for better orders. But after you see so many no tip orders that end up having mega tips, you change your attitude about them.
Yeah $7 from two clowns, likely to report you considering the type of person they are for not tipping or have issues with the drop off etc. Oh and let's not forget to take 60% of the number shown to account for gas, maintenance, taxes, insurance, emergency money, etc. So really like $4 delivering to two clowns 🤡💩
No way I, or anyone should ever take a $2 offer. Better strategy is to decline this UE order knowing that it will hit trip radar at a higher amount 1-2 minutes later and you might be able to get this to $5.
In California with prop 22 this would be 40/hr even with no tip. You could even milk the clock and wait at the restaurant a bit. In non CA/NY states these still suck.
Yes and have fun paying $5 a gallon, ridiculous state income tax, extremely high rent and housing costs, etc. I'd rather not have no state income tax and cheap gas here in TX
Honeslty terrible advice tbh..I mean 5.50 for 4.5 is already trash and just to take a 2$ add on even next door is still terrible.. one thing your forgetting here is this the more non tip orders you take the more likley your going to get a scum customer that gives you a bad rating or says they didn't recieve the order so is 7.50 for 4.5 miles worth it absolutely not and let's be honest here even if both orders are ready it's talking u atleast 10 mins to drop and 10 mins back for less than 8 bucks .. bad advice more bad advice .. don't give in to crap tippers teaches them nothing stand your ground.. slow or not..
What is the point working $2 door dash orders instead of driving passengers? Or working as a medical courier or similar? You are so young you can get in IT jobs... Or car wrapping, for example. Stop wasting your time.
Arguably food is more predictable and food won't scream at you, bring drugs/alcohol into your car, food can't be under age, food can't be a backseat driver, food can't bring a child without a car seat, attempt to assault you, threaten you, etc. As someone who's done both, they each have pros and cons
Out of principle it’s not worth taking that. You just encourage no tipping
Exactly

Just do this as a side and have a full time job. Stop whining please.
Nah. I be declining those shits no matter what. That shit can sit there for hours
It’s getting to the point that NO TIP orders are getting worse than ever…..
They are considered FREE deliveries with NO money to the contractor
How to make no tip order profitable?
Don’t do them.
lol I love this comment
Nope, More money made (saved) when the key don`t turn.
Wow. A $7 double from two deadbeat customers. Ridiculous
2 dollar orders means you're basically working for free. it's mind blowing that these companies are getting away with this.
Herriman is a pretty nice area too

I still would not live to any of these states.

Yes it is. Unfortunately some dummies will follow terrible advice.
Sorry, we just agree to disagree. I come from the restaurant industry and no tip is blasphemy to us.
why my deliveries amount to more than what was transferred to my card? somebody has the same problems? or just my problem?
Bro got two phones 🎉
😏
And 1 brain cell
Or the second customer sees you drop the first order off, and he calls you.

What??
What is the odds of that? Lol

@@RD-ce6bb 😂🤦
Yes sir !
Two dollars for 16 miles I get that all the time and I hate it
😅
Why are you so obsessed with DoorDash or gig jobs did it for 4 years. Worst jobs I ever had.
I take all orders
Thanks 👍
i take a lot of no tip low mileage orders on UE and end up with tip 50% of the time.
Great! if your financial situation allows you to subsidize somebody else’s, that’s wonderful. 👍🏼
Don't look now but your pants are on fire
