It will not work even when uber had investment backed by investors it started with that same idea of taking on the cab industry. they never made a profit and lost money. They realize theyll never make any money and then started charging higher rates that they say would never do when they initially had planned from the start
@@aeris...5389 It could work if everything wasn’t market up so high and pass the savings to the customer and the drivers could still get paid fairly because there wouldn’t be a bunch of guys in an office somewhere taking half the profits.
These big tech companies are basically Government agencies they have a bit more resources.

The truth is spoken folks its sad to me dd is so terrible this way 😢 I used to doordash on the side for extra cash because I had a regular full-time job and now instead of doing the doordashing on the side I actually had to take on a second regular full-time job because the doordashing was such a joke the pay was not worth it and most the time I felt like I was paying to deliver the food to the customer versus them paying me
I tried Uber Eats yesterday. It was awful!!! 25 mile trip for $8? $5 for 14 miles? Terrible.

Well I’m living proof they deactivated me and I was doing really good. I was excited to work every day and I guess they didn’t like the fact that I was declining certain orders because it was really sad when I saw four dollars for 11 miles or even six dollars for 16 miles, I can’t make this up it’s really messed up but yeah, one day I was dashing like everything was great and then all of a sudden they deactivated me and now they don’t want nothing to do with me. It sucks I mean granite it was my part-time job but I still made about $19,000 from May to December if that tells you how much work I put in.
At this point if they deactivate me they’d be doing me a favor 😂

Make sure if you get stuck at a train you snap a picture of it...I got a contract violation from a late delivery caused by a 8 minute long train.they took it off after I showed them pictures
The problem is they hire way to many people and not enough orders to go around, just like uber eats.
Another practice I use to avoid unfair deactivation is to run down the timer on “Hand it To me” orders. I still get the picture of the customer getting the delivery. Hand it to me orders make it way too easy for customers to lie about not getting their deliveries.
So do you sit there and wait for the timer to go down then take a picture, recently I got a message on my account where the customer lied not getting their food even though i sent them a picture, DoorDash sent me the warning when I raised the dispute after 2 weeks later they removed the violation from my account. Confirming I did indeed sent them the picture. Looks like DoorDash doesnt care if you take a picture either. Their systems are unreliable

Im new and still wont take less than a dollar a mile. Some of these recent orders have been horrible. The delivery time is ridiculous as well
if you're taking dollar per mile orders then yes, you are new.
Remember your coding the algorithm how to treat you on orders offered.

This happened to me and they won't reactivate me. Over 1400 deliveries and they said I didn't do one. Wtf? And they said my acceptance rating was too low. Well they never give a rate which is considered tok low, so how do you deactivate me! And then the appeal got denied. That was my full time job
Did you submit a response to the contract violation? With pictures and texts?
50% or under can be deactivated.

Screw doordash I can see that soon they're going to have their so many drivers frustrated with them that there's going to be some kind of boycott or some kind of a mass strike if they gonna mass deactivate like that good luck doordash without us drivers you'd be sh** to the food delivery industry just like you already are.

In December and January DD was offering something like a $600 referral bonus. I figured that mass deactivations are coming.
They don’t need to deactivate us as they pretty much already did for non top dashers who can’t get any orders or even go online
I’ve noticed the same topic over and over about DD ! Everyone , every driver is getting screwed by the $2 orders over and over ! So I had a friend order a dinner at a wing shop so I could see what they are paying ! And lo and behold a $15 dinner after all the fees was $27 ! The delivery was nowhere near affordable after all them fees ! DD is charging so much that there is no money left for tipping ! Uber eats charges half the costs in fees and that’s why tips are better !! DD relies on the quality of drivers who deliver and customers have no idea who is handling their meals !
When you do shop, they literally say *** "Do NOT PUT THE RECEIPT IN THE CUSTOMER BAG" because DD gets massive complaints when they see not only did they give us a delivery charge, we were charged higher for each item. $5 burger is actually $6.50 DD new price.
Remember folks.

You can legally file a wrongful termination lawsuit against doordash.
And if they are faced with a lawsuit, they will cave, IMMEDIATELY.

@@Kyeshacarter any job you work if you are wrongfully fired you can file a wrongful termination lawsuit. If you get a w2 or an i9 and have to legally file taxes, it qualifies.
If your in a "at will state" they do not have to tell you why you got fired. Only way you can go after them is if they give you a reason on why they fired you.
If doordash is as bad as everyone is saying, then being deactivated wouldn't be a big deal to me.

Thank you doordash is relying solely on us to get these deliveries to the customers without us they would be nothing is US dashers that need to stand up to them and show them that they can't just use us like they do becuz they do the guy on this video is right the more experienced that you are and the more you know about everything with doordashing the less they like that what you think I'd be the opposite like you said but no they want new people that don't know cuz I know when I first started out George Washington I didn't realize that the acceptance rate really didn't matter so I was constantly accepting these really crappy orders that I never would have actually took him but only was because it was acting like I had to to in order to maintain the ability to get high paying orders but I can say from experience that is total crap I still get plenty high paying orders when I have the acceptance rate of like 18% because they send me so many shity ones as well

Oh And not to mention just how many miles your expected by them to drive and the wear and tear your delivery vehicle goes thru.... I switched from doordash to Domino's cuz the customers actually tip pretty good most the time and you never have to drive over a five mile radius from their store lol oh also as they should they pay a reimbursement for your gas becuz a decent employer should if they're having you run all around everywhere using up all your gas but not wanting to put any more back in it and then on top of that want to send you some offer of some crappy $6 order that's 11 mi away but considering the fact of your navigating out of your zone well then it's not just 11miles like doordash portrays it's really a whopping 22miles the mileage doordash should be stating to us because for the time and effort it actually takes to go pick up the order from the place and then delivering it out to the person is actually a lot of running around most times. And we do our taxes are not hourly employees so we're not on the clock just making money while we're delivering the money we make is from the delivery that we do And I feel like these people are ordering on this doordash because they don't want to go out and have to drive to go get it themselves but then one should consider about the people who are having to go get it still why would they want to go get it either especially for free practically or with zero insintive and DD customers are the worst sometimes cuz want to leave it at the door conveniently and probably they aint brave enough to face the dasher to have to potentially tip them better so they'd rather hide out behind their door and not tip at all and say leave it at my doorstep what cowards 😮 the worst part is you don't even know that they didn't tip you until after you deliver the order and drop it off because doordash doesn't disclose that to you at all until then so you can be taking an order that it turns out they didn't even tip you at all and this is because doordash attached another good order on to it so you end up getting a double delivery order and you have no idea that you could have just taken the one delivery and made just about as much still but with less bull from people who don't tip on a service being provided to them it's all we basically make on here is tips doordash pays crap they also only do the promotion times or the promos as they call them during usually times where it's not even going to be busy at all and they'll be like hardly any orders coming in whatsoever so even though everybody signed up for that time cuz it's probably the five-dollar promo per order but ain't nobody going to get that because they do the promo at 1 to 5 in the morning when nobody's ordering any food what a joke they are DD
They’ve definitely shortened the pick up time I’ve been at a store like target shopping and I get an order and I have like 15 minutes to pick it up but by the time I get to my car I have like two minutes and it’s 10 minutes less than what they said initially
The question becomes though how would a person ever know who or when accused you as DoorDash won't tell you squat?
We need to unionize. It needs to be a dollar an item (store to door)

Is the DoorDash algorithm setup for someone that has been DDing for a while (just over 100 deliveries) gets less opportunities to DD than someone just starting?
I usually DD in the evening. Past 4 nights have been no go. Same thing happened last week.

I'm a fairly new dasher. Like I've been dashing since Oct. I caught really quick. Even the experienced are smart. We see what ya'll see. The new dashers are not naive.

I try to always get the address in pic at drop off. It has saved me when people say they didn’t get order.

** I ALWAYS TAKE A PICTURE OF THE HOUSE AND THEM WALKING AWAY WITH THE ORDER NO MATTER WHAT. YOU WILL ALWAYS KNOW IF THEY REPORTED YOU BY THE END OF THE DASH. THEN DELETE ALL THE PICS. BTW 85% OR LOWER ON ACCEPTANCE? My GF has tried dash. She has been at 50% for so long they even asked her if she would like to reset and start at 100%.

my acceptance rate is 2%. What I think they should do is make base pay 2 dollars a mile from the restaurant, then almost every order would be doable and tips would be like actual tips. Instead we're going like 'well they didn't tip enough so its not viable for me to do this delivery'. It doesnt make sense, it should be viable with 0 tips. And who the hell is doing the dollar per mile or less orders that I burn declines through.

I started DoorDash about 3 months ago and my wofe started like 3 weeks ago and they gave her top dasher i didn't know they did that, they didn't do it for me hahaha
200 lifetime dashes to qualify initially the 100 dashes a month to retain Top Dasher.
You have to be Top Dasher to get decent paying orders & be able to Dash at will.

Reminder check ratings daily to see if violations are there. Sometimes you can challenge and then have removed. I challenged 2 and 1 was removed. Also always clock in exactly at start time. Not 2-10 minutes late. These algorithms do not like late. Been making about 50.00 more over 10 hour shift now by clicking in on time exactly and leaving right away to avoid late warnings
what about all the dashers that signed up years ago and don't do it any longer? I mean, when the AI is going through the drivers to send out the orders... I wonder if the AI cycles through all the Dashers that no longer dash.?

I do Door Dash and Uber Eats. Only one at a time, though.
I’m a new dasher and my windows are like 20 mins.
I use slower days to keep my acceptance rate up and completion rate is a given if your not completing your orders then you are costing yourself and company money and time

Its not going to happen because majority of drivers are cherry pickers. If they deactivate everyone for cherry picking then they'll have even less drivers. The main issue they are dealing with is orders not being fulfilled because of no tip or long distances. They'll either figure out a way to make drivers consent to doing this order with pay or rewards or trick them into doing them. Like with stacks. We all know most stacks are usually one good order and one or two orders no one wants to basically make you deliver them for free just because they happened to be in the same area.
Doordash is greedy and dumb but they're not that greedy and dumb to the extent of losing business.
I hope so, too many shitty drivers with zero customer service wherewithal. My region is now making us confirm the order in front of the employees. Apparently scum are stealing the food, just sad. If you haven’t started this already… don’t worry you will.
