I think that’s exactly the point. Aja isn’t in the same financial place she was in when she was using the planner more. As much as she can “market” her planner, her life isn’t so focused on tackling bad debt. I do watch older videos to watch her methods on sinking funds. I’ve started to watch other channels on tackling debt but Aja’s sinking fund concept has always been helpful to me. There is something special when feeling less alone about tackling debt.

I used paper form planners I prefer, but in this economy, I had to re-think my priorities, and I had to change to a digital form. It’s cheaper and always available from my devices-no need to carry it around.

As someone who is neurodivergent, sometimes I write in my planner and sometimes I don’t. I bought a planner where I can write in the dates and that works perfectly for me! 😊 if there is a way for your customers to alter things but still have prompts and guidance, I think they can be more successful. I also saw that some companies do 3 month planners. 👌🏽

I considered buying it at the beginning of the year, however it was outside the price range I wanted to spend on a planner. I did buy it in April with the discount and I am enjoying it. I would suggest reducing the amount of blank pages and creating small areas to write within the pages. Possibly reduce the manufacturing cost and price overall where you can find a compromise in price and vision 💛

There's a difference between "selling" a home and "leasing" a home. People who lease property present it to potential tenants in the best possible light because the interest is that they will lease for many years. Property that is being sold, is usually sold "as is" meaning you have to do your due diligence to make sure this is a property you want to buy/invest in. The Seller of a property tries to get the most money for their property without having to invest anymore funds into it. It is very important to distinguish between these two things before accusing people of not being honest. If I remember correctly, you guys negotiated a lower price for your property, so issues were to be expected.

I agree with the comments about promoting the product, including it in your content frequently. Business always requires pivoting. Figure out what your "cash cow" is. 80% of your efforts/marketing should go to that. I think you could market the product way more. Also, launching your product every holiday. Launches aren't just one time! Start listening to business podcasts, get in a master mind or a business coach. Maybe you are in isolation growing your business and you need support. A product business is difficult! I personally use your planner. One recommendation I have is the weekly expense tracker. I have more categories than 4 so I never use it! Maybe get rid of the categories and do it more like a spreadsheet instead. I hope this helps, Aja!

I agree you could market it more. I love your old budgeting videos when you were in debt- I literally still watch them to remind myself I can deal with the debt I have. Maybe do CZcams videos with your viewers or volunteers/ friend and show them how to use the planner and film it. Give examples of other people using it because I think for a lot of us now, your finances aren’t really relatable anymore.

You're not being negative, ignore the stupid trolls. We gon through crap all the time and you're not alone. I'm the same age as you and I completely understand first homeownership; it's a lot of responsibilities let alone moving to another state. While I'm never considering LA as a place to live; our lifestyles are different; hence, LA just might be your place. Who knows though, that can change but this is all part of the process of adulting. 1. I agree with everyone about the marketing. What if you just made master planner as part of your intro/ outtro that way you don’t have to remember every time. 2. I also agree with the undated planner. I have the passion planner and it is undated. It works great bc I think the general usage of planners is people go in and out of using it. The fact that it’s undated has given me the ability to keep going back 3. Most importantly. I respect the idea of passive income but I don’t think the planner industry is the answer to that. You have true valuable knowledge worth paying for. You just need a different method. Have you thought of creating an online paid for course ie master class etc. companies like Intro would be great too as a subject matter expert in student loan debt and finance people would pay you a high sum for an hour of your time. Lastly I think you would do great to publish a book. It could be as simple as recounting your student loan debt journey. I’d buy it. Your followers would but it. Totally set it and forget once you work out the writing/ publishing. You have true value. Don’t give up. I believe in you!!
