A Quiet, Productive Day | deep cleaning , small business owner

- I thought this would be a fun video to show what my typical day consists of without having to be "on" for the camera - because that's why I hate vlogging - I just want to show you my day as I see it. When Brian is traveling, sometimes I just like SILENCE. Other times I'll listen to low-fi music all day, or podcasts or Beyonce but today I didn't want to listen to anything. It's a really nice departure when there's always music or noises on in the background to just experience a day of quiet.
Today was a relatively lowkey day but I find when I deep clean the apartment, it always takes more time than I expect. Fortunately, I didn't necessarily feel rushed or stressed to get everything done that I wanted to do... but I thank eating leftovers for that!

Loved this new change of pace for this video. Silence is SO needed with the amount of buzz we encounter (some of it unwarranted) and it gets hard to even get your mind in a clear space. Seeing you and the pups just "BE" was very grounding. I recently welcome my very own little "LevI" into my life (Shichon mix) and he has the same vibe as your Levi

Hi Aja. Just a word about expensive dog food. I used to do all the fancy foods and supplements my vet convinced me to buy but somehow my dog was always coming down with some health issue. I always thought I had a picky eater (he literally ate almost nothing during his first 6 months--it was a nightmare). He has never been healthier since I started feeding him just cooked meat with a bit of pumpkin puree. I add some powdered vitamins and minerals on it a few times a week when I can remember it. I get him the best quality ground beef, venison, or salmon I can afford, cook it with some coconut oil or olive oil, add pumpkin puree or mashed sweet potato (this is to keep his stool solid) and that's it. No more teeth issues, no more skin issues, his hair is thick and healthy, no more ear infections, you name it. And he is always excited to eat, no more pickiness!
I am definitely thinking of making them food as well but I just need to figure out how to do it where it doesn't take up all my time. Levi is really picky and won't do frozen to reheated food.

Try using blueing for the whites. Rajiv Surendra has a lovely video about it. I just added it to my laundry machine. It really did make a difference but I had to do it regularly for a bit.

Loved the scene of you making the bed and him not moving 😂 my dog does the same exact thing. Here I was thinking I was the only one making a bed around my dog. When you put the pillows on top and he didn’t move that had me lol 😂😂😂

Hey girl!! I noticed Americans dont really use a duvet cover for comforters~ they have some from ikea so you only have to use and wash that and not entire blanket if you want!!

It might be easier to buy a bucket to let your white clothes soak in OxiClean for a couple days! And then just put it in your white clothes load when that pile gets larger! Hope you’re enjoying life back in Cali 🤍

As a Mom that washes white baseball pants for small children (weekly), soaking the items in oxiclean and shout detergent works to make it white again! You will have to soak for at least a day though!
