No need to respond to people who need to get a life! It is your decision whether or not to move to acquire 1 bathroom. Can it be done with 1 bathroom, yes if that is what you have but having a goal to have an additional bathroom to see that everyone gets out in the morning is not an unreasonable goal. Sometimes I think they are bots! Ignore them and block them. You have done a wonderful job organizing your home! I enjoy the products you purchased to help in that regard. You also have done quick a bit of work in your home to make it feel more spacious. You make great videos!

I raised two girls! I was so thankful I had two bathrooms!! I couldn't imagine sharing one bathroom with two grown kids! 😂😂

I keep some of my children's old cups for taking to the beach to build sand castles or in the garden while playing with water. 💐
Best thing I did to help throughout my declutter journey was to cancel all my subscription boxes.
We have six of us sharing one bathroom right now (seven as soon as the little guy potty trains) so I DEFINITELY hear you on the space issue! Houses are definitely a big investment so we're taking our time to find the right location and price for what we want. Your kitchen is looking absolutely amazing since the big declutter, so open and spacious! ❤️

For mother's day I planted roses and azaleas in my flower beds and decorated our front porch...

I used to get attached to everything. The journal on amz called Throw It Away by Guru Notebooks was a good tool, as well as journaling about the items.
I live alone and had a 2nd toilet/shower added to my basement. It is right by my washing machine .After gardening..or when we ( golden retriever and me)save on ac by hanging out in the cool temp for the summer I like the 2nd bathroom.
It’s great isn’t it? Just make sure to slow down the outside drainage by putting in steel wool, etc. To prevent a backup during rain storms. We had that problem in the basement bathroom.

😂 Don't listen to criticism about sharing a bathroom with teens. Trust your instincts. They are stinky and gross. And they hog everthing. Also guilt tripping and moralizing is rude. I watch these shows to get inspired.
Hahaha! We had 3 full bathrooms when I was a kid and they were still nasty from my two brothers 😂😂 I can’t imagine!!!
This is indeed very heartwarming and very wonderful and the house is so beautiful and this brings back such great memories of when I use to be a 90s kid and an early 2000s kid and I am a new subscriber as well:).

Ha! On Twitter (okay, X) I’m stunned at the number of people who respond negatively to something really positive. I love to give the first negative commenter a 🏆 and congratulate them.
The diffuser does not put out enough moisture to do any sort of damage. We have a very tiny 1/2 bath and I have one going in there at all times (every room in my house actually)
I would definitely take the little bit of moisture over the toxins that are released from B&BW or any other plug in for that matter. Stick to the diffuser. Not only do they smell better, but there are health benefits to every single oil that you diffuse.

The ants are crazy at my house too! My 8 year old makes a game out of catching them on a piece of paper and putting them outside lol I’m sure they come right back in 🐜 btw, your hair looks fabulous ❤

hi i don't know if this will work to help you but i live in Australia and in summer have the same issue with ants. i use eucalyptus oil around all the openings to my house, doors and windows and sometime wash my floors with if too and so fa r( the last 3 years ) i haven't had any issue with ants i have found that the smell can be a bit strong but around here it normal ,it's a strong forest type smell so it just makes everything feel fresh and clean after a wile and its safe for kids and animals because its an natural product. just an idea,
Ants hate the smell of cinnamon. Sprinkle cinnamon along the baseboards and places you see ants come in and they will be gone. We had a bad ant problem and tried cinnamon and we no longer have an ant problem!
I am so envious of those large drawers you have in your kitchen. I wish I had some like that. I am fortunate, however, to have lots of cupboards & cabinets ❣️This was a great video❣️

It always amazes me how negative people can be. They seem to think since they can't have it, nobody should have it.

I love sunscreen-y scents! My favorite perfume is Beach Walk by Replica and I think it has just a hint of sunscreen smell and i love it!

People are crazy; don’t listen to them! It’s just me and my husband in our home and we have 2 bathrooms. That’s something I wouldn’t compromise on with my anxiety and needing 2 toilets 😅 Don’t listen to the crazies!!

I understand your bathroom sentiment. My non negotiable is my own bathroom. I’m the only female in the house & I refuse to share a bathroom with my son.
Ever thought of adding an addition to create a bigger master suite with the addition of a bathroom? I wonder if that maybe something to look at also. Something to think about
We’ve thought about it! The previous owner actually had plans drawn up to add on and we had a few contractors come out to quote us but none of them ever got back with a quote! It’s so strange.
We have 3 boys-8, 6, and 3-in a 950 sq ft house with 1 bathroom. We have talked about moving or adding on to our existing house. The thought of selling and buying a different house is scary right now with prices and interest rates what they are. I also don't want a bigger house because then I have to clean a bigger house. But also, 5 people sharing 1 bathroom is a challenge. We will definitely have to revisit our options when housing and building materials come back down. Limited inventory is a must right now.

I have a robot vacuum, different brand but like yours, it cleans the pads with it own water in that tray. I have to clean out that tray once a week. It tries to clean itself but cannot get it all and it starts to stink.
My hubby is a keeper of everything just incase and I’m a get rid of it person! It’s hard as it drives me mad that he keeps it and him mad that I throw it lol
We worked out that I don’t need the item to remember the memory but my husband does which means I’m less thing sentimental than him but it’s hard to be opposites lol x
Check your yard for ant beds. That might be reason ants coming inside. Put ant killer on ant beds outside if there are any
I use indoor/outdoor Ortho Home Defense Spray to get rid of ants and spiders. Works great!
I have what ppl consider a sizeable house.. I call it my little house 🏠 lol 😆.. and would like more space too.. nothing wrong with that

My father added a bathroom in the basement, and the basement into a bedroom. Just wondering if that’s possible for your house.

Another suggestion...you might want to call a pest company out for the ants. I had them marching into my house and they wound up in the dishwasher. Yikes! But the pest man found where they were coming from outside and got rid of them. He said they were looking for water. It was a one time application thank goodness.
We also get ants (they make me crazy!) We have TruGreen come and spray the outside perimeter of our house. It really takes are of them.
What do you use in your laundry?
I don't think that itty bitty diffuser is adding much moisture to the air.😊❤

A little note I just found out from Clark Howard. No need to wash and rinse dishes before the dishwasher. The machines end up working too hard when dishes are cleaned
My bathroom is the same size, and we are also a family of 4, but we never felt the need of a bigger bathroom. We live in Europe, and it's quite usual that houses or apartments here have small bathrooms. We use it for a certain purpose, anyway 😅 we go in, do our thing and leave the room. 😂 There is no need for a bigger space to shower and 💩
I’ve heard from lots of people who live in Europe that it’s super common to have small bathrooms! It’s so interesting how much it varies all over the world!
If you want your mind blown, check out Japanese tiny apartments 😂 I saw one was basically a corridor (as in a single corridor, short and not wide) been turned into an apartment with a bed up a ladder, a desk below, world's tiniest "kitchen" (couple cupboards, one hob plate, sink, and she had to put the chopping board on either the sink or hob plate to create a "worktop" space) and a bathroom that was basically a cupboard with some kind of space age toilet that is moveable and stored under the sink (that thing was plumbed in too!). It was insane.

It’s definitely still in the discussion but we’re not sure! We have to decide if we want to put more money into this house or save for our next one

Love the fake plant idea and where it is. Just an idea you could have a bigger one for the space or 2 small ones. When my kids were children, the bathroom cleaning felt like going round in circles. In the end , though, you have the peace of mind that it was cleaned regularly. Your bathroom looks great. I hope your mum is doing well. Thanks for sharing her update. I'm enjoying this video - updating us on your spaces. For us, being able to see how you keep them maintained and how they work is so encouraging and reminds us of the reality of life in the home ❤
What do you use for the ants?
They’re ant bait traps by Terro, I’ve found over the years they work the best. This year we’re also spraying all around the outside of our home!

Have you ever looked into adding a bathroom to your home I know what you mean when you only have one small bathroom been there with two kids and never mind the people that complain to you about what you said about your voice Cuz it’s 100% true. Yes the ants are invading our home too!! We just sprayed and but ant traps in some areas in our kitchen and living room. I hate ants!🤢🤢
I love your house. But having kids with one bathroom is tough. I grew up in a family of 5 with one bathroom. And now have a family of 4 with one bathroom. We hope to someday add a bathroom. But even a half bath is helpful when you have little kids. Especially when they need to go to the bathroom.
I know one bathroom is hard Bern there done that.. Especially with teens.. Boys or girls it doesn't matter its hard. I know that some banks are offering mortgages at 5% interest rate versus 7%... Check that out when looking the interest rates right now are not great.
I haven’t seen any at a 5% rate but it’s crazy that that sounds like a good deal at this point! Our current rate is under 3% so it’s hard to imagine walking away from that

I was able to cut my electric bill down to 0 yes 0 because the electric company and Minneapolis has a special program that gives people a 35% discount on their electric rate if they use less than 300 km per month and I had accumulated quite a bit of credit so I felt like I am just. fine affording a second basic bathroom nothing fancy just functional.
I'm gonna have to look into that damp rid thing..I've only ever used the stuff that comes in a bucket. I'm gonna refrain from going back or looking for comments on your statement about moving....idk what's wrong with people!!! You (and we) are allowed to want to move or to do this or that for whatever the reason is!!!! Even if you just wanted to move because! But your reason should be self explanatory enough! I have a 17yo and 10yo, both boys and I could not imagine sharing a bathroom.
Sometimes I forget to replace the tab that goes into the damp rid but when I do use it correctly, it is definitely helpful!

We have 9people in our home ramngng in age from 7 to 50 amd we use I bathroom and r thank full for haven a bathroom to use better than doing it in the woods or yard don't listen to the negative comments to many people Not thankful for the what theuhave wouod love another bathroom but more to clean nothing wrong with wanting 2 barhrooms

For the ants, if you can spare the money a good pest control company can take care of that for you!! I have a bug phobia and pest control companies save me haha

Ants are our nightmare at home. We live in a country house and they smell food in a second! I am using baking soda as a friend told me that they hate the smell... lets cross fingers!!!
Use a paste of sugar, water and borax, put in on a small piece of cardboard, you will have a million ants then in about a day they will be all gone, borax is poisonous so this may not work for you with children or pets.
May I suggest...do not use a bath mat unless you are taking a shower or a bath. We probably should wash the bath mat more often than we should so this helps keeping it cleaner longer!

Be careful with the bath and body works wall plugins, they get super warm and may cause a fire hazard. I stopped buying them. Just a little suggestion.
I could never do what you do, I love watching your videos and getting the tips and such you share however I'd scrub my entire street with a toothbrush before I would respond or apologize to everyone brave enough and perfect enough to judge me. Whoever made those comments and felt they were enough above reproach to judge you should look into they're own heart and start working on themselves and stop worrying about the decisions you are making for your life. Which you wholeheartedly have every right to do.
It's your refrigerator handle, not your kitchen sink. Studies have shown that there are more germs on the average refrigerator handle than on the toilet. Fairly disgusting, but true. Ever since I read that, I've washed my handle with a bleach cleaner. Lol. And BTW there's nothing wrong with wanting a bigger house or more bathrooms. Your boys are only going to get bigger and bigger.
It’s not a crime to want more than 1 bathroom, ppl can be so ignorant. I grew up with 2 1/2 bathrooms, for 6 ppl, our home today has the same for 3 ppl.

I don’t think that’s “ungrateful” to want more in your life. What would life be without dreams. I have 3 teenage boys….i do NOT want to share my bathroom with them. Thank goodness I live in Asia and it’s normal to have ensuite bathrooms for all bedrooms. Yay for me😂😂 I don’t even care that I have to clean them.
